In Star Wars Legends, a similarly named planet, Kirima was located in the Kalinda system at grid square O-16. Twin Stars of Kira indicated it to be near the Corporate Sector, but Secrets of Naboo implied it to be near Naboo. Jason Fry has stated that they are different planets.
