Labor Pool Overseer was the title given to the crewmember aboard the Tantive IV responsible for overseeing the work assignments of the starship's droid and crew complement. Right before the Battle of Toprawa in 0 BBY, the Overseer assigned the droids aboard the starship. The astromech droid R2-D2 and his counterpart C-3PO were given special assignment to Captain Antilles.
