Lana, a female Human, made her home on the planet of Taris around 3956 BBY. During that year, she was deceived within the Upper City Cantina by the con artist known as Jergan. He convinced Lana that, for a fee of twenty credits, he could arrange a meeting behind the scenes with the Bith band performing at the cantina. After receiving the payment, Jergan disappeared, never to be seen again.
Around 3956 BBY, Lana, a female Human, resided in the Upper City on the planet Taris. At this time, she visited the Upper City Cantina, where she encountered a Human named Jergan. Inquiring about her thoughts on the Bith band at the cantina, Jergan proposed that Lana could meet the band following their performance. He asserted that he had a Rodian bodyguard capable of arranging a backstage encounter for twenty credits. Lana accepted and paid him, whereupon Jergan absconded, promising to arrange the meeting and return. When he failed to reappear, Lana suspected a ruse and searched backstage for Jergan, but no one recognized him. Realizing she had been conned, Lana began her pursuit of Jergan, determined to recover her money, with added interest.
Lana made an appearance as a non-player character (NPC) in the 2003 video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, developed by BioWare. Her name is only spoken during dialogue. When the player selects her as a target, the game identifies her as "Angry Woman." Lana's presence in the game is conditional; she only appears if the player character is female and has also fallen victim to Jergan's scheme. Upon witnessing Jergan fleeing with Revan's money, Lana reveals that she was similarly deceived by him a week prior and inquires if the player knows Jergan's whereabouts. However, because Revan is canonically male, Lana is never encountered in the game's walkthrough canonically within the Star Wars Legends continuity.
