During a mission to the Vak Combine, Ascendancy military Picket Force Six undertook a mission to listening post KR21, expecting to find a Nikardun fleet. Instead, they discovered that the Nikardun starships were destroyed by an asteroid missile platform, and boarded the post to record Nikardun corpses. Eventually returning to continue their investigations, the Chiss encountered Grysk ships converting it into a shipyard. Following the ensuing battle, the Grysks fled into hyperspace.
