They arose to be the main power over the Mandalorian Clans, but it's stability was tested as Mandalore the Avenger slighted Clans like Clan Ha'rangir and exiled others, leading them to form the Hidden Chain, led by Field Marshal Heta Kol, to overthrow Shae's power. The tensions ultimately boiled over, leading to a new civil war amongst the Clans.
Fearing that the war would prompt a response from the Republic and the Sith Empire, one that would target both Tra'tade loyalists and Hidden Chain members, Shae Vizla renounced her title as Mandalore and any control of her forces to Jekiah. Believing him to be the key to finding Heta, she liberated Darth Malgus from his prison, in turn betraying the Eternal Alliance.
