The Medepiest Uprising occurred at some point between 19 BBY and approximately 0 ABY and involved the Galactic Empire. During the uprising, Reginna Bel Typolla smuggled weapons before eventually returning to her homeworld, Malthor. Typolla subsequently falsely believed that the Rebel Alliance did not know of her involvement in the conflict.
The Medepiest Uprising was a conflict that took place at some point between 19 BBY and approximately 0 ABY and shared its name with the Medepiest system of the Mid Rim's Lambda sector. The uprising involved the Galactic Empire, and it also saw the participation of the gunrunner Reginna Bel Typolla. After spending an amount of time smuggling weapons during the conflict, the latter safely returned to her homeworld Malthor, in the Mid Rim's Tandon sector.
Typolla eventually began relaying information to the Rebel Alliance and falsely believed that the Alliance was not aware of her involvement in the Medepiest Uprising. Not long after the Battle of Yavin, Alliance General Airen Cracken noted that fact in an entry dedicated to Typolla that was part of a datafile detailing various Rebel operatives. Cracken further expressed his belief that the Empire, in turn, did not know of Typolla's participation in the uprising—which he considered to have been an "ill-timed" conflict—although he was not sure of that.
The Medepiest Uprising was created by Ted Stark and was introduced in Cracken's Rebel Operatives, a 1994 West End Games sourcebook published for use with Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.
