The Metal Clan was a clan on Bri'n that opposed female alien Th'er. They sought to destroy her trees. After negotiations with Th'er failed, the Metal Clan chased her and the Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, surrounding them briefly before they escaped aboard an Eta-class shuttle.
Sometime before the Crisis on Naboo, the Metal Clan sought to get rid of the trees on Bri'n which were owned by the priestess Th'er. However, according to law on Bri'n, they could not destroy them unless either Th'er let them, or they killed her. The Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn soon came to Bri'n to support Th'er in negotiations with the Metal Clan. However, it ended in the Metal Clan leader and his forces pursuing the pair into the woods. As they surrounded Th'er and Jinn, their leader threatened Th'er. Jinn, though, had ordered his apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi, to come in their Eta-class shuttle. As the Metal Clan leader ordered their capture, Jinn Force jumped into the shuttle with Th'er and they escaped.
