Sabine and Ketsu face off against stormtroopers on a mission that becomes more complicated than they bargained for.
In Garel City, Sabine Wren and Ketsu Onyo infiltrate an Imperial warehouse. Ketsu has already left the Black Sun crime syndicate. When Sabine asks her when she wants to have her armor repainted, Ketsu replies that she is still not sure about joining the rebellion. Sabine and Ketsu are on a mission to steal containers carrying food supplies for the rebellion. Sabine explains that their actions don't always involve excitement, but that it sometimes involves helping people in need. Ketsu tells Sabine to pick a more exciting mission next time.
Sabine opens the blast door, only to discover two stormtrooper sentries standing guard outside. Sabine and Ketsu knock out the stormtroopers with their Mandalorian helmets. Ketsu says that she spoke too soon, while Sabine replies that there were at least two of them. However, another blast door opens, and the two friends are attacked by three blaster-wielding stormtroopers. During the gun battle, one of the food containers is toppled by a stray blaster bolt, revealing a small Chadra-Fan boy.
The child cries in distress. Ketsu rescues the kid while Sabine provides covering fire. In the process, the Black Sun insignia on Ketsu's pauldron is scorched by a blaster bolt. Sabine calls for Hera Syndulla to rescue them. Ketsu asks Sabine how long it will take for Hera to arrive, just as the starship Ghost flies into the hangar and drives the stormtroopers away with its laser cannons. The Ghost drops its gangplank, and the two are greeted by the C1-series astromech droid Chopper, who squeals a greeting.
Sabine and Ketsu flee aboard the Ghost with the Chadra-Fan child, leaving the stormtroopers behind. The Chadra-Fan boy thanks his rescuers while Hera praises the two girls for getting their job done. After Ketsu decides to join the rebellion, Sabine spray-paints a red starbird on Ketsu's charred pauldron. When Ketsu praises her artwork, Sabine thanks her friend for changing her mind and welcomes her to the rebellion.
