Oliviah Zeveron was a human female Jedi Knight who served as the aide of Jedi Master Leebon, the representative of the Jedi Order on the Convocation of the Force on Jedha around 382 BBY. Zeveron was the sister of the eventual cult leader Elecia Zeveron.
Zeveron was interrupted from her meditations next to the Final Protector by Leebon, who asked her to fill in at the Convocation meeting due to her being needed elsewhere. Though skeptical of the Convocation's usefulness, Zeveron obeyed and arrived to discover the representatives in an argument over whether to accept the Yacombe. Coming to their defense and ending the argument by noting how the only divisive people were the Convocation representatives themselves, Zeveron was disappointed and frustrated when the Yacombe envoy left anyway. This furthered her disillusionment with the entire affair. Zeveron confronted Radicaz Dobbs when he arrived to speak for the Path of the Open Hand.
Zeveron expressed her frustrations to Leebon, as well as Padawan Matthea Cathley and Jedi Master Vildar Mac. They were interrupted from their discussions by the arrival of Werth Plouth, the Herald of the Path, who directly antagonized the Jedi as he spoke about their abuse of the Force. Zeveron watched with the other Jedi as the Herald riled up the crowds against them, and prepared to defend herself against the mob when they were transformed into monsters.
Zeveron tried to quell the riots in Jedha with the help of Mac, Cathley, and the other Convocation representatives. She was threatened by a Besalisk, but Force pushed him away. Noting that the riots were no accident, Zeveron sensed the Mother and followed her intuition, trying to find her. Mac and Cathley followed her and though Zeveron did not find the Mother, she did have a vision of a child which looked like her.
Zeveron was then called by Leebon, where they arrived at the Final Protector only to find a mob surrounding it. A frustrated Zeveron ignited her lightsaber in defense, but this only served to rile up the crowd more. Zeveron then was in the direct path of the exploding statue, as it collapsed. Zeveron pulled Leebon out of the statue's path and they were both unharmed. They received Cathley's message about the collapsing almshouse, but were too far away to be of immediate assistance.
Zeveron was trapped in the desert with Leebon when she discovered their speeders had been destroyed. She was frustrated with Leebon for wanting to stay, noting that the Protector had fallen and there was nothing to defend. Leebon disagreed and Zeveron asked what she was hiding, only for the two to be confronted by raiders looking for the Rod of Daybreak.
Zeveron soon contacted Mac, telling him that she was at the site of the Final Protector and that the raiders had taken Leebon. She could not sense the Force and told Mac her lightsaber had also been taken. Zeveron was caught by surprise by Plouth, who stabbed her in the back with her own lightsaber. Zeveron managed to stay conscious until the speedy arrival of Mac and Tey Sirrek. She managed to tell them that Leebon was still inside the statue, needing their help, and that she had tried and failed to put herself in a healing trance. Sirrek used his pheromone to slow her heart and put her to sleep while he and Mac helped Leebon. Sirrek then helped Zeveron back to Jedha City where she was treated and was able to get some rest.
Zeveron was supposed to return to Coruscant to rest from her injury, but after consulting with Mac, Sirrek, and Cathley, decided to take a brief detour to Dalna with Cathley to investigate The Mother and her cult. As they approached Dalna, Zeveron opened up to Cathley about her years as a Padawan trained by Jedi Master Fitan. She described her master's personality and how the two always traveled to different planets. Zeveron also stated her own level of regret for not following in Fitan's footsteps, referencing how she ended up as an aide on Jedha.
As Zeveron and Cathley arrived on Dalna, they quickly involved themselves in a dispute between the Path and Ferdan citizens. Their involvement was not taken well by the Path member, Xander Cran, however Zeveron managed to use her diplomatic skills to calm things. Cran referenced two other Jedi who had come to Dalna, a Soikan and her Padawan. Zeveron then managed to quell anxieties about what the Path was transporting onto the planet, showing it was only food. She and Cathley then snuck aboard one of the carts carrying the Path's supplies in order to reach the Path compound.
Zeveron and Cathley reached the compound and came across Ric Farazi who was obviously sick. Zeveron asked Farazi a series of questions relating to the Mother and her relationship with the Path, before she and Cathley were confronted by Littles - Tromak, Naddie, and Boolan. Zeveron directed similar questions about the Mother at the littles and received much less information, as she and Cathley were quickly blamed for Farazi's illness. The littles raised the alarm and ultimately the Mother herself came with her Leveler to investigate, nearly crippling both Zeveron and Cathley. Yana Ro was told to take the Jedi to town. Zeveron questioned Ro about where they were going before conferring with Cathley, discussing how they had been affected before. Discussing Farazi's condition with Doc Nindle, Zeveron was surprised to learn she had been poisoned. She helped Nindle to unsuccessfully treat Farazi.
Zeveron was once again surprised and angry to discover that Werth Plouth was free and on Dalna. She discussed her theory that The Mother had Farazi and others poisoned to cover her other goals. She was forming a tenuous alliance with Ro and Plouth before the arrival of more Jedi on Dalna, which frustrated her especially when Plouth blamed her and Cathley for bringing them. Zeveron addressed the Jedi who had arrived and explained her and Cathley's presence on Dalna, later speaking with them on the cruiser and learning what had brought them there.
Zeveron later tried to open up to Cathley again, to reveal why she had spoken and acted the way she had - she was feeling lost as well. This was shortly before she and the rest of the Jedi began to fight at the Battle of Dalna. She, Cathley, and Azlin Rell teamed up to defeat Plouth, engaging in a quick banter with him before Rell forced information out of his mind. Plouth led Zeveron and her companions to where he had last seen Marda Ro and then to the listening chamber where the Mother was. Zeveron then confronted the Mother, revealing her to be her older sister Elecia Zeveron. The older Zeveron, after a short conversation with her sister, tried to kill the Jedi again until she was thwarted by Marda Ro. This left room for the two Zeverons to have a lightsaber duel, which Oliviah Zeveron won and thus was able to capture her sister. Some time after the battle, she tried to start explaining the Jedi way to her sister, however this effort was short-lived as Ro brought the Leveler to kill her former leader. Zeveron was left reeling, as Cathley, Mac, and Sirrek came to help her.
Oliviah Zeveron was very opinionated about her distaste for the setting of the Convocation. She cared deeply about the unity of all Force-users, but was skeptical about the usefulness of mediums such as the Festival of Balance. Though respectful of her superiors, she did not hesitate to question their decisions when a situation presented itself. She was good at taking charge when a situation demanded it, using her logic and reasoning rather than simply relying on her status as a Jedi. Vildar Mac and Matthea Cathley commented that she seemed to be holding something back as she planned to travel to Dalna. Zeveron tended to be quiet about her concerns, but found herself able to open up in some situations. She tried to seem mature and thus attempted to not express her excitement when she was younger, a habit she carried into adulthood. This led her to sometimes be perceived as harsher than she was.
Oliviah Zeveron was a skilled Jedi Knight, proficient in both lightsaber combat and with the Force. When attacked by darts fired by Werth Plouth, she was only cut by one as she deflected the others with her lightsaber. She was also able to fight and defeat the Mother with two lightsabers despite still being in recovery from an attack from the Nameless moments before.
Zeveron hurled the Besalisk away from her with telekinesis when he threatened her. She referenced the fact that she had attempted to put herself into a healing trance, but even though she could not do so then, she stayed conscious long enough for Vildar Mac and Tey Sirrek to arrive in the desert. She, along with Cathley and Azlin Rell, threw three Path members into the wall. Later, she was able to freeze a blaster bolt midair and push it back at the Wookiee who fired it, incapacitating him. She also pulled a thermal detonator into her hand. She also had control over the Force in order to mind trick a cargo hand to forget her and Cathley hiding in a crate, and to sense a sentient being in a building.
Zeveron was also physically strong. She was able to break out of Susalee's vines and moments later disarmed a man by shoving him with one hand and kicking his knife out of his hand.
Zeveron wielded a green-bladed lightsaber, with a simple grey hilt. She possessed a set of robes with light brown tabards and brown boots from Sullust
During the High Republic panel at Star Wars Celebration Europe in 2023, the teaser image for the Night of Sorrows was unveiled, showing Oliviah Zeveron and her sister in the eyes of a Nameless. Michael Siglain made a comment about it being "kind of a familiy affair."
