The Outer Rim Command Center was a Galactic Republic base located in the Outer Rim Territories during the Clone Wars.
While on a mission to the third moon of the planet Vassek in the Vassek system, the location of the lair of the Separatist General Grievous, Jedi Master Kit Fisto ordered the two clone troopers protecting their Nu-class attack/transport shuttle outside the fortress to contact the Outer Rim Command after having engaged Grievous during their hunt for the Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray, who had previously escaped Republic custody in a Separatist rescue mission. However, the Kaleesh, who had activated his IG-100 MagnaGuards, ordered his guards to lock down the perimeter of the fortress, resulting in the destruction of the shuttle and deaths of both troopers.
The Outer Rim Command Center was first mentioned, albeit indirectly, in "Lair of Grievous," the tenth episode of the first season of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series, which aired on December 12, 2008. It was later first identified in the episodic guide for "Landing at Point Rain," the fifth episode of the series' second season, which aired on November 4, 2009.
