Polomie was a terrestrial astronomical object located in the Polomie system, a part of the Mid Rim's Oriolan sector. During the Galactic Civil War, a Rebel Alliance stronghold was located on Polomie.
At some point by 1 BBY, military forces commanded by Imperial Inspector-General Moff Rebu carried out an attack on the Rebel stronghold. The operation served as the first field test for the new Imperial Nemesis-class gunship, which decimated the Rebel forces and later returned to the Imperial base. Rebu subsequently filed a report to the Imperial Department of Military Research on the gunship's performance on Polomie.
Polomie was mentioned in "The Nemesis Gunship" entry of the in-game databank of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, a LucasArts video game released in 2010. The StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Polomie system, and therefore the celestial body, in grid square J-16.
