Following their acts of sabotage against the freighters belonging to both Lommite Limited and InterGalactic Ore in 33 BBY, the Toom clan established a secret base on this world. Nevertheless, Darth Maul, acting covertly, successfully guided Patch Bruit along with other LL employees to Riome. There, they proceeded to eliminate all the Toom clan members present. Yet, Darth Maul lay in wait, concealed from view, and personally defeated the surviving fighters.
