The Rite of Ascension, also named the Ascension ceremony, was a ritual practiced by witches on the planet Brendok. The ritual was seen as noble and magnificent, combining the strength of all witches who participated. Mae-ho Aniseya and Verosha Aniseya were performing the ceremony with Aniseya and her coven in 148 BBY before being interrupted by the Jedi Indara, Kelnacca, Sol, and Torbin. Before the interruption, Mae completed the ceremony and was left with a tattoo on her forehead.
