Roxuli was an Expansion Region planet that was the site of a remote mining colony during the existence of the Galactic Republic. At one point around 33 BBY, a commuter shuttle from the celestial body Hallitron-7 bound for the planet Coruscant made a supply drop on Roxuli, allowing the Nautolan thief Nakano Lash to hide there. The Judicial impostor Huijari visited Roxuli on the suspicion that Lash—as well as the Hope of Glee Anselm statue she had stolen—was located there, and the formerly imprisoned bounty hunter Aurra Sing, who was being used by Huijari, also sent a message to the bounty hunter Jango Fett instructing him to travel to the mining planet. There, at the Administrative Zone Twelve settlement, Fett identified Lash as the thief, and shortly thereafter, during a scuffle with Fett, Sing killed Huijari, after which Lash revealed to the two hunters that the stolen statue was in fact a forgery.
Roxuli was a remote terrestrial Expansion Region planet located in grid square I-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid. It shared its name with the Roxuli sector. From space, the planet's surface appeared brown-colored and pockmarked with circular areas, and it featured a dusty, mountainous area. The planet featured a Type I atmosphere breathable to several species.
Roxuli hosted a mining colony during the existence of the Galactic Republic. At some point around 33 BBY, the Blood Oath Syndicate member Renzoh Silliac, who operated a salvage yard on the Mid Rim celestial body Hallitron-7, wished to save the life of the Nautolan thief Nakano Lash, who was about to be killed due to having a connection with a recent theft of the Hope of Glee Anselm statue on the astronomical object Jaloria. Silliac booked the thief—who had the statue in her possession—on a commuter shuttle bound for Coruscant, the Core Worlds planet that served as the Republic's capital, that was scheduled to make a supply drop on Roxuli while en route. Subsequently, the salvage yard owner recorded the information in a computer in his office.
The formerly imprisoned bounty hunter Aurra Sing, who was being used by the Republic's impostor Judicial Huijari to track down the bounty hunter Jango Fett, later retrieved the information from the computer and relayed it to the Judicial, noting that Roxuli was a good place to hide. In response, Huijari planned for them to travel there. At the same time, Fett—who was tracking down the Hope of Glee Anselm—retreated aboard his starship, the Slave I, after being injured during a fight against the bounty hunter Vigor Struk at the same salvage yard. On the vessel, he received a message—accompanied by a star map—from Sing that instructed him—in case he had survived—to come and find her on Roxuli.
While Huijari and Sing were traveling to Roxuli, the latter—who in reality had been browsing on a datapad a file on the Judicial impostor—claimed that she had learned of a potential for danger for them while perusing maps of their destination on the mining planet. Fett also eventually arrived there, landing the Slave I on the outskirts of Roxuli's Mining Guild–controlled Administrative Zone Twelve settlement and walking into the town on foot. There, he was met by a CZ-series secretary/business communications droid representing the Mining Guild and was subsequently confronted by a group of Republic prison escapees, who erroneously believed Fett had arrived to capture them. Fett soon killed most of the group and then had an Urodel boy lead him to a local cantina that the thief of the Hope of Glee Anselm would have likely visited.
At the drinking establishment, Fett intimidated Lash into unwittingly revealing herself as the thief, after which the bounty hunter captured her while fleeing outside the cantina. At that point, however, Sing and Huijari also arrived at their location, with the former launching an attack on Fett. During the scuffle, Sing made Huijari expose himself as an impostor and then killed him. Afterward, Lash revealed to the two bounty hunters that the supposed Hope of Glee Anselm statue that she had stolen was in fact a forgery, leading Fett and Sing to realize that they, along with Lash, had been set up. The trio then departed off-world.
Roxuli's Administrative Zone Twelve was inhabited by members of various species, and the population included employees of the Mining Guild.
Roxuli was the site of Administrative Zone Twelve, a mining district controlled by the Mining Guild. The settlement featured a cantina.
