The tank's primary weapon was a turret-mounted heavy laser cannon with a maximum range of five kilometers. This was backed up by a medium blaster cannon with a maximum range of one kilometer. It had a crew of five and enough room for at least one passenger.
The Hell's Hammers used this repulsortank in their elite armor unit as well as having its image as part of their unit insignia.
The Firehawke was eventually replaced by the Imperial Repulsortank 1-H approximately two years after the Hammers suffered a major defeat by the Rebel Alliance on Turak IV.
