Around 18 BBY, sometime after the incident with the cloned Zillo Beast, the Bad Batch was working with the pirate Phee Genoa. Genoa and Omega were negotiating a deal with a criminal group led by Lanse Crowder in Club Lao Che. Hunter and Wrecker disguised themselves as patrons of the club. Crowder presented an artifact, but Genoa asked if she could inspect the artifact before handing the case full of credits. After the deal was made, Crowder offered the pirate a drink. Genoa quickly caught on the poison that was laced in the beverage. Having another trick up his sleeve, Crowder released a Kouhun to assassinate Genoa from behind. Hunter noticed the bug and threw his vibro-kinfe.
After Hunter's cover was blown, a shootout quickly started in the club.
