Sensor net

A sensor net was a piece of technology used as a detection device.

Sensor nets were created by overlapping sensor fields in order to detect an object passing through them. Ranging in coverage size, they could be used on terrestrial locations such bases and camps, or be deployed across entire systems.

Mon Calamaris first line of defense was a sensor net produced by sensor buoys that scanned hyperspace routes leading to the planet. The planet of Onderon likewise had a system wide net that had to be deactivated on the planet by saboteurs before the Alliance could destroy Jyrenne Base.

While on Dellalt, Han Solo inadvertently triggered a sensor net, alerting J'uoch's mining camp to his presence.
