Pine tree forests on Shili
Shili was a planet that was part of the galaxy's Expansion Region, specifically in the Shili system. It was the homeworld of the Togruta species. Shili had colorful grasslands, expansive pine tree forests, as well as hills and mountains. The native Togruta displayed distinctive skin patterns for camouflaging in the grasses.

Shili was known to produce famously melodramatic holovids. One of the signs in Shili's zodiac system was called Ai. Its traits were wisdom, charisma, and exceptional virility. The constellation representing that sign was formed from blue dwarf stars. A being born under Ai also had the sign Genry on Coruscant.
Shili was the homeworld of Jedi Master Shaak Ti as well as former Padawan Ahsoka Tano. Tano would be discovered by the Jedi Order when Jedi Master Plo Koon visited the planet and noticed that Tano was Force-sensitive. Koon would subsequently bring Tano to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant so she could begin her Jedi training.
