The Star Cruiser was a starship employed by the Galactic Empire.
It was considered an air cruiser, and was smaller than an Imperial-class Star Destroyer. It had TIE-like wings on each side of the superstructure. The Star Cruiser fired one large laser blast rather than having many smaller cannons.
The air cruiser had a similar role to the Lancet Aerial Artillery, as they both played the same role in an atmosphere. Another Imperial warship shared the Star Cruiser's name and was a type of Super Star Destroyer.
