The game features seven levels from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars film as well as the TV episodes Duel of the Droids, Cloak of Darkness, Shadow of Malevolence, and Destroy Malevolence. The duels are in the order the episodes were made, not aired. Some lightsaber duels from the series are not in the game, as season one was still in production. To avoid spoilers, the game did not include duels from Lair of Grievous and The Hidden Enemy, although Kit Fisto and Grievous are both playable characters.
- The duel between Anakin Skywalker and Asajj Ventress that was deleted from the final draft of the film. Unlike in the scene from the movie, the rancor was barely in the duel, and intermission in the duel was different.
- The duel between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ventress from the film. In rounds 2 and 3, at some point the Twilight drops some cargo on the player, due to the deleted scene in which Ahsoka tries to dump the cargo out of the Twilight so it can jump to hyperspace. There are also several vulture droids flying low above the player. At the end, Asajj is crushed by rocks instead of escaping on a vulture droid.
- The duel between Anakin and Count Dooku on Tatooine from the film. However, at the end, instead of Anakin leaving on Dooku's speeder after Dooku taunts Skywalker with a hologram of his Padawan being beaten by the IG-100 MagnaGuards and assures Skywalker that he will not escape, Anakin knocks him into the sarlacc pit, stating, "That's a better fate than you deserve, Count."
- The duel between Ahsoka Tano and General Grievous from the episode Duel of the Droids, but outside the station instead of inside like in the episode. In round 2 of the fight, R2-D2 and R3-S6 can be seen battling. Ahsoka slices Grievous' back and jumps into a gunship whilst a coughing Grievous lands on his personal fighter; in the episode, Grievous chokes Ahsoka, who takes advantage of an explosion to slice the hand choking her.
- A duel between Ahsoka and Ventress aboard the Tranquility from the episode Cloak of Darkness. A difference, though, is that Luminara Unduli never appears, and in the second part of the fight, Ahsoka and Ventress go to the ruins of the Tranquility. Ventress, instead of escaping, gets blasted by a gas explosion, whereupon Ahsoka notes that she does not need her master to save her.
- The duel between Obi-Wan and Dooku from the episode Shadow of Malevolence. In the level, while Anakin Skywalker and his forces fight the Malevolence, Dooku boards Obi-Wan's ship and attacks him. After a long duel, Obi-Wan defeats Dooku, but is forced to leave the clone troopers to watch Dooku as he goes with Anakin to fight the Malevolence. Dooku kills the clones and escapes.
- The duel between Obi-Wan and Grievous from the episode Destroy Malevolence. At the end, Grievous is knocked off of the train into the chasm by a low bridge after trying to crush Kenobi with a crate instead of Obi-Wan jumping off onto another train and escaping.
- The Separatists create a series of EG-5 Jedi Hunter droids to fight the Jedi. The Jedi Council sends Anakin to prevent the droids from coming on line. He fights one of the EG-5 droids. The droid is powerful, but Anakin's skill with a lightsaber outmatches the droid's, and the droid is defeated.
- If you win 100 games with no losses and all characters are unlocked, the Rancor Pit bonus map is unlocked.
Battle mode is a single-player mode where you pick a character and difficulty level, and your opponent and environment are randomly selected. There are no rules about who your opponent is, as they can be on your side, or even yourself! Like in the campaign mode, you win when you win two out of three matches. When you win a certain number of matches, you are awarded a new costume, no matter what difficulty level.
On the Tranquility level in campaign mode, Ventress tells Ahsoka to stand down and she'll give her a cookie, after calling her "Skywalker's filthy, obnoxious little pet," during the opening movie. This statement was not in the episode "Cloak of Darkness."
If the player chooses to play Plo Koon against Plo Koon, one of the Jedi can be heard saying, "This is Master Filoni's dream come true." Dave Filoni, the director of The Clone Wars TV series, has stated that Plo Koon was his favorite Jedi.
If the player chooses to play Obi-Wan Kenobi against Kit Fisto and beats him in two rounds, he can be heard saying, "In my experience, there's no such thing as luck. Only skill." Obi-Wan makes a similar remark to Han Solo in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.
If a player chooses to play Anakin Skywalker against Anakin Skywalker, he can be heard saying, "Don't get any ideas about Padmé" and "If I'm the Chosen One, does that mean we're the Chosen Two?"
