In an attempt to sate reader demand for stories with Darth Maul, Star Wars Tales editor Dave Land presents "Baby Darth Maul Goes to the Dentist," a short comic featuring Maul and artist Lucas Marangon. Despite Land's assurances, Marangon is worried at the prospect, but accompanies Maul to a dentist's office. When the dentist causes Maul pain, Marangon is struck by his lightsaber, and the artist flees the office with his clothes tattered and in flames, while the dentist himself lies on the floor, unable to feel his legs.
