Station 22 was a communication/jamming array used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems on Gwori.
During the Battle of Gwori, Ahsoka Tano led a raid to secure the tower. Accompanied by Captain Rex and his Clone troopers, they dispatched the B1-Series battle droids. They managed to alert Jedis Plo Koon and Saesee Tiin, but the signal was cut off. Overseer Juhm contacted the station, and realized that the would-be-dead Jedi were alive, he prepared to activate the self-destruct mechanism, but he didn't detonate it in time, allowing Tano, Rex and the Clone troopers to escape.
