TK-577


TK-577 was a member of the Human species and served the Imperial Army as a stormtrooper. He was the leader of a fire team. Sometime after the Battle of Yavin, TK-577 abandoned his post within the Empire and became a highly sought-after individual, reaching the top ten list of the Bounty Hunters' Guild's most wanted. Ultimately, a bounty hunter who was systematically eliminating the top ten fugitives located and killed him.

Biography

During the Galactic Civil War, TK-577, a male Human, functioned as a stormtrooper within the ranks of the Imperial Army. His role was that of a fire team leader.

Following the Battle of Yavin in 0 BBY, TK-577 defected from the Stormtrooper Corps and ascended to the ranks of the Bounty Hunters' Guild's top ten most wanted fugitives. A reward of 25,000 credits was offered for his capture.

The former trooper was eventually found and killed by a bounty hunter whose mission was to capture or eliminate the top ten most wanted individuals scattered across the galaxy. The bounty hunter subsequently received the 25,000 credit reward.

Personality and traits

While serving the Empire, TK-577 possessed the same level of dedication to the cause as any recruit opposing the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Despite his initial commitment, he deserted the Empire after the Battle of Yavin, becoming a highly sought-after fugitive. At the time he was a fugitive, TK-577 was completely bald and had brown eyebrows. He also had brown eyes and fair skin.

Equipment

During his service in the Stormtrooper Corps, TK-577's primary weapon was a BlasTech E-11 blaster rifle. However, after abandoning the Empire, TK-577 utilized a DL-44 XT blaster pistol and a vibroknuckler for engagements at close range.

Behind the scenes

TK-577's character was conceived by Decipher for their Jedi Knights Trading Card Game in 2001. He was later featured as a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts. His inclusion in the game was part of the Dangerous Fugitives addition introduced with Game Update 3 on April 29, 2008. The game's servers were shut down on December 15, 2011.

Players specializing in the bounty hunter profession who had reached level 86 or higher could employ a bounty check ability to locate ten fugitives hidden across the galaxy, with TK-577 being one of them. Bounty hunter players who successfully defeated all ten fugitives within the Dangerous Fugitives collection were rewarded with a Master Crafted EE-3 Carbine Schematic and a Master Crafted DC-15 Rifle Schematic. Upon completing the collection, players could interact with a Trandoshan bounty hunter named Rovessh inside the Bestine cantina to reset the collection, allowing them to repeatedly hunt down and eliminate TK-577 and the other nine fugitives. While players had the option to spare TK-577, this article operates under the assumption of complete game completion.
