The Tahmie patrol cruiser was a type of patrol cruiser utilized by the Chiss Ascendancy's Tahmie family. Equipped with engines and a hyperdrive, the cruisers were armed with spectrum lasers.
In 18 BBY, during a crisis in the Ascendancy, at least one Tahmie patrol cruiser and two Tahmie gunboats engaged starships of the Chiss Droc family at the Ascendancy planet Jamiron. The engagement was stopped by the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet Nightdragon man-of-war Vigilant, which disabled all Tahmie and Droc vessels with its ship-disabling plasma sphere weapons.
