The Star Wars Intergalactic Passport

The Star Wars Intergalactic Passport, released by Ballantine Books in 1983, takes the form of a passport, much like those used in the real world. Charles R. Björklund designed and illustrated this passport, which served mainly as a retail adaptation of the exclusive Intergalactic Passport. The original was given out as backstage passes during the making of The Empire Strikes Back, and its popularity spurred the creation of this commercial version.

Inside, one finds pages to record the passport holder's details, blank spaces for collecting passport stamps, multiple pages featuring destination seals for cutting out and affixing to visa pages, and even some general tips for navigating travel across the galaxy.
