The Theta-class T-1 vessel was a shuttle class manufactured by Cygnus Spaceworks around 980 BBY. Hyperspace-capable and requiring a minimum crew of only one, it was the highest-priced and one of the most luxurious personal shuttles on the market at the time. Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Bane owned and piloted one of these vessels, the Triumph; as did his apprentice, Darth Zannah, who flew in the Victory.
Theta-class T-1 vessels were luxurious personal shuttles produced by the manufacturing company Cygnus Spaceworks. These vessels were equipped with a hyperdrive and required only one pilot, although they could carry at least one other passenger. The shuttles were also outfitted with a private comm channel and a sophisticated navigation computer. At the time of its release, the Theta-class T-1 vessel was the most expensive shuttle on the public market capable of interplanetary travel.
The Theta-class T-1 vessel was created and released by Cygnus Spaceworks around 980 BBY, just twenty years after the conclusion of the New Sith Wars. The vessels became known for being the most modern and state-of-the-art interplanetary shuttles accessible on the open market at the time of their release. By 980 BBY, the Sith Lords Darth Bane and Darth Zannah each owned their own Theta-class T-1 vessel, which they used on multiple missions.
Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Bane owned and flew a Theta-class T-1 vessel, which he named the Triumph, in 980 BBY. At this time, Bane, who lived in a mansion on the planet Ciutric IV, kept the shuttle in a spaceport in the nearby city of Daplona. He piloted the Triumph on a mission to the planet Prakith to recover the legendary holocron of Darth Andeddu, from which he forcefully took the knowledge of essence transfer during the journey back to Ciutric IV.
Darth Zannah possessed a Theta-class T-1 vessel of her own, the Victory, which she used during multiple operations. She flew the ship on a mission to Doan, and subsequently to Nal Hutta to enlist the Dark Jedi Set Harth as her apprentice in preparation for dueling Bane for rites to Sith Mastery. She flew with Harth back to Ciutric IV, where she found that Bane had been captured. Zannah then took the Victory to the prison on Doan to which Bane had been taken. While she dueled Bane in the prison, Harth fled the facility in another shuttle. The Sith's duel ended in a draw, and Zannah then piloted her shuttle to Ambria, where she met with Bane and defeated him in their final duel. When not flying the ship, Zannah kept the Victory at the spaceport in Daplona, under the care of the customs officer Chet.
The Theta-class T-1 vessel was introduced in the final novel of the Darth Bane Trilogy, Darth Bane: Dynasty of Evil, written by Drew Karpyshyn and released in 2009.
