The Trade Conflicts is a name that was collectively given to a series of conflicts that were fought between the planet Daimar and surrounding Rodian worlds during the waning years of the Galactic Republic.
Daimar was positioned on a key point on a trade route through the Mid Rim, causing its Rodian neighbors to resent it, as they believed that it was taking money away from them. This led to the break out of the Trade Conflicts between them, the first of which occurred in about 69 BBY. The conflicts varied from border skirmishes to full out wars. Alet Komain fought for Daimar during the conflicts and rose through the ranks, to eventually become a distinguished military commander.
