Several years before the Battle of Yavin, the professor asked their students during class what piece of opera the composer Igern was best known for. They were satisfied by student Ciena Ree's answer of Chalice and Altar, but was disappointed by her inability to give the opera's themes, which were instead provided by her classmate Thane Kyrell.
