My earliest recollection related to Star Wars involves glimpsing a few moments from The Empire Strikes Back on television when I was quite small (my memory is limited to Yoda and C-3P0 getting hit on Cloud City). My initial complete viewing occurred at the residence of my father's acquaintance, who played the original 1977 iteration of A New Hope that he had taped onto VHS. I immediately found it captivating, particularly when this friend presented a large quantity of vintage action figures! Soon after the debut of the Special Editions, I went to the movie theater to watch the subsequent two films, and from that moment onward, I became permanently obsessed with everything Star Wars!
