Hi Darth Pickle, I actually purchased a copy of the magazine in a shop. It's not due to be released until the 31st, but they were selling it a few days early. --Jinzler (talk) 20:49, May 29, 2013 (UTC)
Very few of those "essays and commentaries" are in fact books, and fewer of them still are licensed by LucasFilm. Hey Darth Pickle, just to let you know, miscellaneous products should receive an article in the Merchandise Wiki and not here. would be best suited for a French Star Wars wiki or the Merchandise Wiki. Thanks, JangFett 04:15, June 5, 2013 (UTC)
Yeah, well, tell it to this article. All I did was create it based on that article's info on release dates. To be honest, I'm not sure why it was listed as the 12th instead of the 5th or the 25th. Weedle McHairybug (talk) 19:23, June 5, 2013 (UTC)
Hey Darth Pickle, try to use our citation templates when sourcing an article. Since you normally add Amazon links to articles, we have an {{Amazon}} citation template. For assassinate, either click the template's link or see my edit here. Thanks, JangFett 03:36, June 20, 2013 (UTC)
Hi, DP. Thank you very much for your contributions to Wookieepedia. Just to let you know, External links need descriptive summations in addition to the link (separated by a space between url and site name or description. Like so:
Please update the external links you've added to your articles so that the site links are displaying. Thanks! —Gethralkin 14:02, July 19, 2013 (UTC)
Hey Darth Pickle, if you're going to create articles, then please remember to properly format them. For future reference, please see my edits here. I shouldn't have to clean up your newly created articles. Thanks, JangFett 02:35, July 27, 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for the congratulations. I was busy all day, but this is how; also, it looks like Silly Dan has fixed the article name for you. Trip391 (talk) 06:37, August 7, 2013 (UTC)
Please check to see if the article that you are creating is already existing with another title. This saves everyone the complicated process of the moving and deleting that has to be done when you duplicate existing articles. Thanks. —Gethralkin 16:09, August 14, 2013 (UTC)
Please note that some tamplates (like {{FFGSWTCG}}) have specific instructions for making changes to them (i.e. editing them for updated information or content). The template you changed had a note in bold that visibly stated:

Hello, and welcome to Wookieepedia! We appreciate your contributions to the Star Wars: Edge of the Empire Specialization Decks article, but we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. Perhaps you would like to rewrite the article in your own words. Happy editing!
In other words, do not simply copy and paste text from Fantasy Flight Games' website unless you are quoting and/or citing the sources from whence the material came. I know that you are excited about getting these articles posted before anybody else can do so, but you really need to do it correctly (and legally). On that note, you also need to improve your formatting. You leave many mistakes in your articles that others have to come behind you and correct. As much as I am excited about this possibly canon information, until an official source is found to support it (i.e., a statement from an official representative of FFG), the {{Confirm}} template the admin placed needs to stay. Another valid source would be a photo of the Beta test manual showing the name of the included mission. I doubt if FFG would allow its forum members to do that on their official forum, however. —Gethralkin 02:43, August 19, 2013 (UTC)
Hi, DP2. Just a reminder to ask you to please reference your sources properly. It may be that you do not know how to properly do so because, since JF's message to you above, articles such as this one still contain incorrectly formatted reference citations. I know you trying to be quick and keep it simple, but in many cases trying be quicker and easier is the way of the Dark Side. By sticking a URL link under a subheading without properly including the full information about the source of the citation you are using, you are not following Wookieepedia's Manual of Style (MoS) and editing policies. Although JF offers examples above for you to follow, the Wookieepedia's sourcing and citation policy is a "must read" if you are going to be citing sources. You will need to follow this policy to avoid raising the ire of editors trying to follow up and correct mistakes that you probably are not aware you are making. Please list your references correctly by learning how to do it properly—you can even go so far as to experiment in Wookieepedia's Sandbox before creating or editing something so you can proofread your work before making the actual article changes. Also, please revisit your contributions to check the sources you cite to make sure they follow the MoS. Happy editing! —Gethralkin 20:26, August 22, 2013 (UTC)
Hey, just a heads up, I added a Merchandise tag to the . Stuff like that is more suited to the merchandise wiki. Thanks, Supreme Emperor (talk) 23:04, August 27, 2013 (UTC)
It looks like you have slipped back again into old practices. You have left only the external links in this article and have a POV statement in the information you mention without stating if you are calling the information scarce or the source calling the information scarce. You can't do that. Everything has to be non-point of view (NPOV). Also,m merely giving the website is not enough (I believe I mentioned this before). You need to have the name of the article along with the date. Please adjust your editing practices to fulfill this policy requirement for establishing sources. Thank you. —Gethralkin 01:00, September 8, 2013 (UTC)
I personally have not written any DK Young Reader articles, so I do not personally "have pages for DK Readers with 'scant information' and only 'publisher's summaries'" on this wiki. So, I do not know which articles you are referring to without you providing specific links to them. Remember that many things get in "under the radar," and some articles have been on this wiki for a while before they get the notice they deserve and are deleted. Please review this wiki's site policies as they will answer all of your questions. As a matter of fact, I recommend that anyone joining Wookieepedia not begin editing without first doing as specifically recommended, and review the policies and conventions first before editing and creating articles. It is like trying to take a mid-semester exam without attending any of the class's lectures, and anyone that jumps into editing like that either show that they 1) don't know where to find the tutorials to help them improve their editing, 2) don't know they need follow a site's policies for editing, or 3) don't care about what the site's editing policies are and want to create articles without taking the time to learn the correct way to do so. One of the things that you will learn if you take a tutorial tour through the Wookieepedia's site policies (which are linked in the box at the top of your Talk message page, so I suggest you try those) is that Wookieepedia is not an all-inclusive trivia site. Editors are not even allowed to put such non-relevant information in "Behind the scenes" sections, so why would a whole article of such non-relevant material be acceptable? —Gethralkin 00:31, September 13, 2013 (UTC)
If they're not officially licensed, then please remove them. You've been told before. Keep in mind that consensus removed Star Trek articles in the past. JangFett 22:36, September 13, 2013 (UTC)
Pickle, please a) actually read the sources you're creating articles from and b) please stop creating articles on everything you read online. The Record of the Dread Masters post was a transmission from one person to another, as is clearly stated on the post itself, and does not deserve an article. Cade Calrayn 21:13, September 14, 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for contributing to Wookieepedia, the Star Wars wiki. In case you didn't know regarding the edit you made to Unidentified tentacled crawfish humanoid species, Wookieepedia has a naming policy which establishes how characters should be identified in their articles. Please review this policy to better understand why certain names are used in preference over others. Thanks! —Gethralkin 14:06, September 17, 2013 (UTC)
What you are doing is tantamount to logging trivia, which is against this wiki's "no trivia" policy. If you do not personally have access to the internal relevant information within a subject of an article that you want to create (you don't own or haven't personally read the book), I suggest you don't create it at all until you have the context available to you to write a proper article. It appears that you are looking for anything and everything to create articles as if this is a race. We do not have prizes for being the first to create an article, and your creation edits do not count any more than your other article edits. I also don't know why we all need to keep repeating ourselves about policy (all of them are linked above in the Welcome box), because we have already showed you what policies to look at. Spend a few days without editing anything and read them. You are not going to die if you aren't editing during that time, and you will learn more about what is expected of you as an editor. If you continue to edit without paying attention or regarding policy, you are disrupting this wiki because others have to constantly fix errors you wouldn't be making if you just followed policy. Continuing to do so could result in an editing ban imposed on you (usually a couple of weeks). If that happens, you are sure to have enough time to study the policy without being distracted by the urge to make policy-conflicting edits and articles. But I recommend you study those policies now before that becomes necessary. —Gethralkin 14:35, September 17, 2013 (UTC)
Pickle, when updating templates, please read the instructions, particularly where it says "When making changes to the template, please do not modify the actual HTML code." Cade Calrayn 00:27, September 21, 2013 (UTC)
As far as I know, we do not create individual articles for StarWars.com's blogs. What you can do is mention a blog in an article. An example would be this: click here. JangFett 12:56, September 28, 2013 (UTC)
Wow, way to go and totally miss the whole point of studying the rules. You "looked at the Welcome box"? Did you even bother to click on any of the links? Like A Wookieepedia Tutorial, for instance? That is the whole purpose for the box. I have a hard time believing that you have difficulty clicking on links in the Welcome Box to learn how to properly edit, when you are already doing plenty of editing which would indicate that you understand the concept of a redirect. To review you comment, you said that you "just assume based on past evidence to create certain articles." Howver,, if that really so, and you weren't really just trying to start up article pages so you can have your name on them first, the level of you editing would be acceptable. As it is, you do NOT follow the format of similar previous articles. For instance your X-Wing Miniatures Mission 6: Undeniable Assets page that you burped out is glaringly NOT up to the quality of the initial X-Wing Miniatures Mission 1: Political Escort article from the same series. Quit wasting everyone's time here and learn to edit properly. Go read and learn the editing rules, and you will make fewer people angry with you (I am reading several irritated comments on your talk page about you not following anyone's advice to read instructions). Quit creating articles if you don't know what you're doing. Quit pretending that you know what you are doing when you don't even bother to read instructions. Case in point: messing up the navigation template because you can't be bothered to read the instructions. This wiki has very specific instructions on how to create articles. So, there is excuse for you to create articles by using formats of existing ones. And you need to know a very big rule of thumb, here: if you don't own it, or haven't read it, or watched it personally, then don't write an article about it! Do you personally have the books and games that you are prolifically writing about? It doesn't look like it. So, quit writing creating articles about them as if you know their contents. You should be providing, at the very least, comprehensive material for any article you create. Your "I want to write the next entry," statement is the exact attitude that several of us are having a problem with you over. It's what has screwed up several articles, where a great deal of effort needed to be made to fix the mess you created. Please stop acting as if the policies on this site are beneath you to even bother studying, because (as I mentioned to you before), some admin will finally tire of you ignoring the rules and ban you. —Gethralkin 20:09, October 1, 2013 (UTC)
Being that my vented frustration did more to confuse than clarify (JF pointed out that the comments were rather harsh, and I apologize for being too pointed, so truce accepted), I would like to change tack and make a suggestion. And this would not only benefit you, but everybody visiting the Wookieepedia. Pick an article that isn't undergoing constant current revisions or isn't part of a topic involving pending resolution (i.e., a character from a currently ongoing comic book series would not be appropriate). Nominate that article for promotion to either of the first two of the three article statuses: Comprehensive Article (CAN) or Good Article (GAN). Given your stated time constraints, I would not recommend doing a Featured Article Nomination (FAN) as they are extraordinarily long and involved (I am not even attempting them at this time). Article nomination means that you are selecting an article that you will fully finish as far as it can be completed. Focus your attention on that one article and the result will be a quality article for the Wookieepedia to be proud of. Upon successful completion, you will be awarded an actual Honor in the form of a userbox badge that you are permitted to show on your User Page only after completing a successful nomination. These are the Wookieepedia awards we have for article creation and editing, and something that you can take real pride in. Being the first isn't what counts around here, and can you truly take pride in an unfinished article that a visitor might feel is sloppy? While anybody can create an article (reasonably, of course), we don't award that. However, the editor who raises an article's status is the one given awards to proudly display on their page. The process also helps you to undergo a better training and mentoring under the peer review that takes place, which is much better than just waiting for someone to happen along something you did to correct your mistakes (trust me, there are too many articles on WP for everybody to find all the mistakes, so don't feel that you aren't making any. I and others still find mistakes in things I edited years ago). You said in so many words that you wanted to become a better editor. Well, nominating an article will get you there, for sure. Here is a walk-through to get you started: Official Rookie's Guide to Mastering GAs. This may be the easiest way to get you up to the speed you want to be as an editor. —Gethralkin 17:06, October 13, 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for contributing to Wookieepedia! Before posting talk page comments, please familiarize yourself with the disclaimer at the top of talk pages, {{Talkheader}}. Talk pages are for discussion relating to changes to the article, not for a discussion about the topic in question. Thank you. Trip391 (talk) 01:52, October 27, 2013 (UTC)
I noticed you were the one who changed the release date for The Bounty Hunter Code: From the Files of Boba Fett the first time as well as now, but figured it was a mistake. It was released on October 15th, not the 29th. Do not change it again, thank you. Trip391 (talk) 21:04, October 28, 2013 (UTC)
In the same vein as the Dread Masters thing, please, please actually slow down, take a look at what you're doing, and research it. Why do you think that those non-canon, fan-made comics would have any relevance here, and why would you place OOU content in the in-universe biography section of an article? Cade Calrayn
Darth Pickle, did you copy the text from verbatim or did you paraphrase using your own wording ? "Before the invention of the hyperdrive, the Je'daii and non-Force sensitives of the Tython system, could only travel within this space. Travel from planet to planet took several days; the furthest planet, Furies Gate, taking 300 days. " I don't have access to the text since you didn't identity the comic that shown Interplanetary travel. JangFett 11:02, October 31, 2013 (UTC)
Please stop spamming articles on various abilities that you run across on TORhead.com. They are game mechanics, and it does nothing more than add to your edit count. As a general piece of advice, stop adding articles on stuff you find on the internet. If you're not going to put the effort into it, they're not worth writing. Cade Calrayn 00:41, November 24, 2013 (UTC)
I don't think there is anything on here, i haven't seen it. I'm going off memory and i BELIEVE it was one of the coruscant nights books where it appeared, i'm moving soon so all my books are packed up so i can't double check :( I also remember reading about a jedi stabbing the droideka in the power as he slid under in one of the adventures books, again packed away :/ maybe just assume they dont for the time being?
The only example i know of something like uplifting of animals is the imperial experimentation on ewoks, gamorreans etc, who could hardly be said to have null intelligence (Project Chubar).
If i understand what you mean by coil gun, then a verpine shatter gun would indeed be an example. Manoof (talk) 07:20, November 24, 2013 (UTC)
Pickle, please do not include Category:Technology stubs or any "stub" category in any article. Those categories are automatically inserted if a stub template, such as {{tech-stub}}, is inserted in the article. For future reference, please take a look at my edits here. Thanks, JangFett 01:59, November 30, 2013 (UTC)
Time dilation is no different in Star Wars than in anything else, so does not belong on a Star Wars wiki. How many times have you already been told this very sentiment? Trip391 (talk) 07:14, December 10, 2013 (UTC)
Pickle, before you create more "Does Star Wars have this" threads in the Knowledge Bank, let me say that you need to read Rule 11. Enough of the threads and try to do your own research. In the past month, I've deleted two of those threads from you because they violated Rule 11. If you see something that's not mentioned or if something needs clarification, then you may use the article's talk page. (Questions, that are not violating Rule 11, can be asked in the KB). Thanks, JangFett 02:13, December 15, 2013 (UTC)
Wookieepedia is not an English dictionary, but an encyclopedia on Star Wars, hence Wookieepedia and not Wikipedia. Calculator was a figure of speech Han used to describe the droid, that is all. Does the source you mentioned even state that a calculator is a handheld device, or are you simply assuming that is the case as well? Is a calculator any different in the Star Wars universe than in our real life universe? No, especially not in the article you wrote. If something is no different in Star Wars than in the real world, it does not deserve an article. Why do you think most of these articles you've been creating, and simply copy and pasting text from wikipedia for many of them, have been deleted or redirected to other articles, not just by me, or other editors, but by admins? Look back through your own talk page. Haven't you already been told that Wookieepedia does not do articles on every word mentioned?
And if you don't like your articles "being patrolled", then maybe you should look through the Manual of Style or Layout Guide to see how articles should be written, so you can stop wasting other editors time from having to check your articles, and go through and fix your mistakes, or otherwise disregard for Wookieepedia's policies or formatting. Trip391 (talk) 18:27, December 21, 2013 (UTC)
Pickle, if you don't have the game, then don't make articles on things from The Old Republic. More importantly, stop creating articles just to be the first one to do so. You're being incredibly sloppy and leaving unfinished articles without categories, and you're ignoring the numerous warnings and pieces of advice that you have been given by numerous users. This kind of article is a prime example. You're creating articles based off of what you read on TORhead, which isn't necessarily representative of what's in the game, and you've forgotten stub tags, categories, and era tags. I'd strongly advise you to stop creating articles willy-nilly and take some time to read our policies, the Layout guide, and manual of style. You might find yourself facing administrative action if you don't. Cade Calrayn 21:42, December 23, 2013 (UTC)

As you were already warned on October 27, familiarize yourself with the disclaimer at the top of talk pages, {{Talkheader}}. Talk pages are for discussion relating to changes to the article, not for a discussion about the topic in question. Trip391 (talk) 08:04, December 29, 2013 (UTC)
Please consider this your formal administrative warning regarding the creation of articles. When you create an article, you need to adhere to the policies of the Layout Guide and the Manual of Style. I'm not even linking these pages for you, because you have been told this multiple times already by other users. This means you need to write articles in past tense, you need to use the eras template, you need to add categories to the bottom of articles, and all other applicable tenets on these policy pages, which I just assume you have neglected to read. Since you seem intent on ignoring all of these warnings, this will be your final opportunity to respond and comply. If you continue to ignore these notices and create articles incorrectly, you will be blocked from editing. Thank you for your cooperation. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 03:12, December 30, 2013 (UTC)
You have been blocked from editing for 1 week for adding unverified information to Wookieepedia. You have been warned in no uncertain terms not to use Wookieepedia as a source for creating articles with information that you cannot personally verify yourself. If you continue this kind of editing upon the expiration of your block, you will be re-blocked for a longer duration. To contest this block, please contact the blocking administrator with the reason you believe the block is unjustified. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 20:37, January 2, 2014 (UTC)
Pickle, I'm not playing around. You have demonstrated ample evidence judging from your talk page that you do not have Star Wars: The Old Republic. Therefore, you are not in a credible position to create this article, which means you have gone and done again exactly what you were just blocked for. I'm going to give you one chance to prove to me that you have the source from which you have just created this article and did not copy the material from TORhead, the TOR wiki, or any other other fan site. If you ignore this message, I will assume it is because you do not have the source and will reinstate your block. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 04:41, January 10, 2014 (UTC)
You have been blocked from contributing for 1 year for continuing to add unverified information to Wookieepedia despite more warnings than I care to count. This was the last straw. Your dubious contributions to this wiki have become nothing more than a menace over the past several weeks, and it's time to cut you off. Although I'm beating a dead horse by now saying this, if you decide to return once your block expires, you would be wise to heed the advice that others have already provided. To contest this block, please contact the blocking administrator with the reason you believe the block is unjustified. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 00:51, January 11, 2014 (UTC)

- I have been informed that the External links are sufficient as citation and can serve to cite direct copied material—if it included as a cite reference. So, you can disregard the above note as applied to the website link you included at the end of the article... However, please note MJ's proper use of citation of the source you provided at the end of the article (External link), as well as the minor fixing of the incorrect format with which your article was in. Concerning article format, if you read the Manual of Style and the Layout Guide, you will learn how to more correctly create and edit articles. Please take time to read these, as they will help you be a better editor. It will also help other editors, like MJ and myself, from having to reorganize and fix mistakes you leave. Your help is greatly appreciated with keeping up to date with gaming releases. By learning and applying this wiki's Style and Layout, your quality of articles will reflect well on your editing contribution to the Wookieepedia community. —Gethralkin 07:42, August 18, 2013 (UTC)

Hi, DP2. Just a reminder to ask you to please reference your sources properly. It may be that you do not know how to properly do so because, since JF's message to you above, articles such as this one still contain incorrectly formatted reference citations. - Hi, DP2. I just wanted to commend you on the way that you are displaying your references. Just a note, however, concerning the recent articles you created. "The World of Star Wars: Kenobi" is concerning a subject that is a source about an OOU publication. The OOU publication itself, Star Wars: Kenobi has its own article, and already contains the source of its publishing information. Also, the Star Wars: Science Fair Book is not a publication with significant Star Wars canon to justify its inclusion in Wookieepedia. I have moved its information to the Merchandise Wiki, as requested by the {{Merchandise}} tag that was posted for it. However, don't lose heart! Just remember that the published material should have something to add to the story of Star Wars. Nonetheless, I appreciated your hard work to make sure that your sources were appropriately referenced. —Gethralkin 16:43, September 2, 2013 (UTC)
Hey, just a heads up, I added a Merchandise tag to the . Stuff like that is more suited to the merchandise wiki. Thanks, Supreme Emperor (talk) 23:04, August 27, 2013 (UTC)
- Darth Pickle, please heed the multiple warnings and recommendations that you have received and do not continue to create articles on sticker books and other merchandise. We do not cover that material here; that is what the Merchandise Wiki is for. If you would like to create articles for those materials, please do so on the Merchandise Wiki. CadeCalrayn 04:14, September 2, 2013 (UTC)
- The discussion regarding the article can be addressed here. Please respond to that discussion and fix the article so that the related tags can be removed from the article. Otherwise the offending material might have to be deleted from it. —Gethralkin 01:07, September 8, 2013 (UTC)
- DP2, again we are asking you please to not change the HTML in templates such as {{FFGSWTCG}}. Please follow the instructions under the subheading, Source, to properly change the template. You have been asked several times to edit them properly. —Gethralkin 18:41, October 21, 2013 (UTC)
- What is being asked is for you to not create the articles if you do not have the means to make them complete—they don't have to be full pages of prose or 1000-word essays, but they do need all of the things that the Manual of Style wants. And, yes, I am in school. However, I am not creating new articles because I would be doing a disservice to this wiki by starting them and leaving unfinished half-way through. I am being responsible and refraining from beginning things that would lower the quality of this wiki because I can't finish them. I am sure other editors would like the same from you. Here is a suggestion. Write articles you want to create on an subpage of your user page (ask someone how to do it if you don't know how, not me though b/c I am in midterms). Take your time to gather all the information and build it completely using the wiki's policies as your guide. When it's complete, with all the information it needs, ask another experienced editor to check it for you and make suggestions for changes or improvements. If what you wrote passes muster, then copy the wiki markup from your subpage and create the new article and paste your finished material in it. This will keep loads of unfinished and half-done articles from popping up everywhere. —Gethralkin 05:12, October 13, 2013 (UTC)
- Amazon may say the 29th, but it was actually released on the 15th. Trip391 (talk) 21:11, October 28, 2013 (UTC)
- And another thing. It has come to our attention that you're mass-creating articles by strip-mining the CUSWE pages on TheForce.Net, including directly copying their information verbatim. This is not ok. TFN and CUSWE are not valid sources of canon information. Just because they say a subject appears in a canon source is not verifiable enough for our purposes. Unless you can personally go into a given source and confirm the information that you're adding to this wiki, you should not be creating these articles. If you continue to do this, I will have no choice but to block you from editing. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 03:22, December 30, 2013 (UTC)
- I respect your honesty, so I'm not going to penalize you for that. But this is it: You will not be given another warning. If you do this again, you will be blocked for a considerable length of time. If you value your ability to edit Wookieepedia, I would suggest heeding this message. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 04:54, January 10, 2014 (UTC)
