Talk: Dr. Legendary

Greetings, Dr. Legendary!

BBY/ABY

The designation BBY/ABY is specific to Legends content and doesn't extend to canon characters such as Finn and Rey. --Alientraveller (talk) 19:04, February 4, 2016 (UTC)

Following that same reasoning, the Battle of Yavin would also be considered Legends material, and therefore so would A New Hope.

Krennic and the ISB

Hello! I wanted to bring to your attention that the source you cited, a ComicBook.com article, does not actually substantiate the claim that Orson Krennic holds the position of director within the Imperial Security Bureau. The article merely mentions that the title of Director has been linked to the ISB in the novel Tarkin. Furthermore, that website should not be considered an official or authoritative source, as it is fan-created and based on speculation. --LelalMekha (talk) 15:50, June 26, 2016 (UTC)

Even if the accuracy of that source is questionable, it has already been verified that he is the ISB director. Dr. Legendary (talk) 16:02, June 26, 2016 (UTC)

  • If that's the case, can you provide the source? All the official and reliable sources I've consulted only state that he is the "director of the Imperial military" (whatever the precise meaning of that title may be) and that his duty is "protecting the security of the Death Star project." There is no mention of the ISB. The ISB is not even part of the Imperial military structure; it operates under a separate chain of command. -- LelalMekha ( talk ) 16:06, June 26, 2016 (UTC)

I assumed it was correct since it was stated on the Orson Krennic page.

  • While noting that he wears a white uniform similar to those worn by high-ranking ISB officers is a reasonable observation (a non-committal statement), asserting that he definitively is ISB is a different matter entirely. ;-) -- LelalMekha ( talk ) 16:12, June 26, 2016 (UTC)

If he is wearing the same uniform as high-ranking ISB members, doesn't that imply he is a member?

Modifications

Hello, I kindly request that you acknowledge my previous comments. You are required to provide a source, which is why I continue to revert your edits and will persist in doing so until you offer a source. Also, please refrain from removing red links, as I previously mentioned, they serve the purpose of assisting users in creating articles. Thank you. --Lewisr (talk) 15:34, July 12, 2016 (UTC)

I only got rid of the red link because its appearance was jarring and disorganized, and the link should only be added when it directs to an actual page. Dr. Legendary (talk) 15:47, July 12, 2016 (UTC)

  • I understand your point of view, but it's still preferable to keep the red link in place -- Lewisr ( talk ) 15:52, July 12, 2016 (UTC) Red links are a signal to other editors that a page needs to be created. If they possess the necessary information, they can click the red link and proceed to create the page. While they may not be as visually appealing as blue links, they are highly beneficial for contributors. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 16:02, July 12, 2016 (UTC)
