Hi there, I just want to let you know that copying text verbatim from another source, such as Wikipedia, is not allowed here. And please note that you are also not copying the references properly. Please take a look at our policies before moving forward. Thank you. Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 06:13, October 22, 2019 (UTC)

Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that your edit to Star Wars Episode I: Racer added an external link without including a backup link. Our Sourcing policy mandates the inclusion of a permanent archival link in all external links. Instructions for doing this can be found on the respective citation template pages. Thanks! Please keep in mind the purpose of the External links section, as per Wookieepedia:Layout_Guide#External_links, before adding more links. As a general rule of thumb, only those critically relevant to Wookieepedia's coverage of the article subject should be listed. OOM 224 17:17, 15 October 2022 (UTC)

Hi!

I noticed you have an interest in editing soundtrack articles. I run the music related wookieeproject if you're interested in joining/assisting with that. Idk if you have a Discord but I'm pretty active on the Wookieepedia Discord server if you wanna reach out to me there.

I did also notice some of the edits you've made have changed some of how I was planning on structuring the articles. I never quite finished my overhaul but the idea I had laid out was that the score would get it's own page:

The ANH Score

And then every unique release of the score would get its own page:

The 1977 ANH OST The 1993 Anthology The 1997 Special Edition The 2018 Remaster

This means that any release which had a new transfer would get its own page, but straight-up rereleases like the 1980 CDs and the 2016 Digital set would just get mentioned on the pages of those releases they were reissues of.

As a result of this structuring, some of the edits you've made don't make very much sense, such as this one: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Star_Wars_Episode_IV:_A_New_Hope_Original_Soundtrack?diff=12776501

Where you've added completely unrelated info to the page specifically about the OST. Anything that's generally about the music itself should go on the score page, but info like what you copied should stay on the Anthology and Special Edition pages.

I haven't finished implementing this structure everywhere yet, so if you want to help with that, the 2018 Remaster article still needs to be made for ESB and ROTJ, and the 1997 Special Edition article still needs to be made for ROTJ

When you're adding links to articles, please make sure to NOT leave them with 'not verified' tags. To correct this, use "preview", click the "backup link" to find the archivedate on archive.org, and add "archivedate=" with the archivedate in question. Thanks. -- Sulfur (talk) 01:48, 7 September 2023 (UTC)

Please note that the template to cite webpages/webites on Wookieepedia is {{WebCite}}. It is NOT the same as the Wikipedia "Cite web" template. -- Sulfur (talk) 10:47, 7 September 2023 (UTC)

And now I'm going to re-ping this one. You have been using variables in your references that are in Wikipedia's "cite web" template but not in Wookieepedia's WebCite template. -- Sulfur (talk) 13:42, 13 September 2023 (UTC)

A third time for this. You're just copying "cite web" templates from Wikipedia without adjusting for the fact that Wookieepedia is a different wiki with different calls to templates. I just had to spend 45 minutes cleaning up all of your template edits on Industrial Light & Magic. -- Sulfur (talk) 14:17, 19 September 2023 (UTC)

  • It appears you did not read Anil's message above, because you just copypasted text from Wikipedia again. Please do not do it again, or you will be subject to administrative action. Thank you. 1358(Talk) 17:42, October 26, 2019 (UTC)
