Hey Ruiz, I was talking about this with Imp on IRC the other day and wanted to run the idea by you first—what do you think about a subpage of WP:TOR with tables for each different skill, listing the mission name and provided the game's description of the mission. Given that these have a bit of lore in each one of them, and mostly aren't available off-game on Jedipedia's database or similar, I think this would be a good idea. Just wanted to know what you think. Fan26 () 18:50, February 11, 2020 (UTC)
- We would also have to dig around on archived sites due to the fact that all of the Crew Skill missions have been faction-neutral since update 4.1 (I do not know why the developers did that). --Rakhsh (talk) 18:57, February 11, 2020 (UTC)
- I should mention this: although crew skill missions are hard to see off-game, they're all listed with descriptions on TOR community (until Update 5.9). I also have them all listed in my files. However, side proposition here, story mails are a much harder find. Mail depends a lot on the mission outcomes and there ain't any website listing them. All I've gathered is from amassed gameplay and I am sure I'm still missing a few. Winterz (talk) 22:10, February 11, 2020 (UTC)
Hi! Hope I'm not disturbing or anything, but I'm not sure how to create proof of notability for articles and I'd like some help. My article is about a clone trooper that really exists. It's the clone that punched a droid on Christophsis and appeared for a couple of seconds.
Could you help me edit an article by adding proof of notablity?Gligo13 (talk) 10:15, February 23, 2020 (UTC)
Hey, you deleted my page even though it was official star wars material, and the quote it was deleted for was a quote in the video, said to Darth Vader. If it could be reinstated and marked as non-canon in all continuity, like the Jek-14 article in legends, that would be nice (not trying to be rude by the way, I just spent a while on it)
Hey, I left a post on the talk page of the article for the early rebellion against the Galactic Empire and, even though it has only been 2 days since I left it, no one has reviewed it that I know of. Would it be possible if you could read it and reply to it on either the talk page or my talk page? --Erebus Chronus (talk) 21:33, March 14, 2020 (UTC)
Hey Ruiz, totally forgot about that rule, my apologies!--Vitus Infinitus 08:56, March 17, 2020 (UTC)
Why did you delete my page?
Hi,
I spent a lot of time on that page. It was all relevant up to date information. The comment you left said nonsensically. What does that mean? Please tell me what I can do to fix it, so I can repost it.
Thanks for your help/input re: Clone list. Red Heathen (talk) 02:50, April 11, 2020 (UTC)
Hello, Darth Ruiz. I recently edited the page for the Battle of Endor, and I just saw that you removed my edits. Why is that? Thank you. VergenceScatter (talk) 23:20, April 11, 2020 (UTC)VergenceScatter
The Eclipse (Legends) also counts as a Legends SD with a super-laser akin to the Death Star. The ship's page on this very site notes as much: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Eclipse_(Eclipse-class)#cite_note-DESB-0
Here is a passage taken from that page:
The most important development in the design of the Eclipse was its main weapon,[1] a concealed superlaser running along the spine of the ship.[3] Based on the technology of the Death Star,[8] the Eclipse's single superlaser could fire at two-thirds the power of one of the Death Star's superlaser components,[2] a feat made possible by advances in superlaser focusing and generator technology. The weapon was capable of destroying even the most powerful planetary shields and entire continents in an instant.[1] It could also crack the crust of planets[11] and rip enemy capital ships apart with a single shot, although early in the Eclipse's construction, the laser was prone to breakdowns.[6] The superlaser was difficult to aim, as the entire vessel needed to be aligned with the target for it to do so.[2] According to Admiral Motti in the field manual Imperial Handbook: A Commander's Guide, the superlaser's primary purpose was to penetrate planetary shields as well as destroy cities in a single blast.[12]
Again, if a citation/reference is required, then one can be provided. In fact, a reference was provided to the Dark Empire Sourcebook, from which the above information originates. Yet despite that the edit was undone/reverted anyway. I therefore request that the edit be allowed to stand in view of how, in fact, the Eclipse in Legends does indeed have it's own Death Star-esque super laser. --Black-Mandalorian22 (talk) 07:10, April 16, 2020 (UTC)
DarthRuiz30 YOU need to stop pinging me and being the boss on following me around, especially you and Lewisr removing the "(Season 7)" mark for certain actors pages and saying in your own words as "unnecessary" when literally this is their only season appearance!--Doofenshmirtz95 (talk) 22:51, April 17, 2020 (UTC)
I’ve noticed that there are two categories (that I know of) that are for the same thing like the and the Dathomirians, maybe the Military personnel of the Sith Empire and the Imperial Army personnel of the Sith Empire. Could one of each be deleted after being moved to the one or be merged? There doesn’t need to be two categories for the exact same thing. Andrewh7 (talk) 03:41, April 20, 2020 (UTC) Andrewh7
Sorry about that, just eager to get work done as fast as I can. I understand that putting the tag on too many articles at once does create... difficulties. I'll remove them if you haven't. Thank you for letting me know. Cheers! --Erebus Chronus (talk) 22:19, April 21, 2020 (UTC)
Hello there,
I saw that you reverted my changes to The Rise of Skywalker article regarding Trevorrow's version of the film. I was wondering why this was done, as I had three separate references to the sources, on top of the already existing confirmation of their legitimacy by Treverrow himself earlier in the article.
If there is any way I could have improved upon what I did, I'd be happy to implement them. As I said in my edit description, I was making a start on what was to be a much larger expansion of the article, so should I have waited until I had a more detailed synopsis of Duel of the Fate's plot prepared?
Any feedback would be most appreciated. CannonProductions (talk) 03:19, April 23, 2020 (UTC)
why did you revert the inquisitorius page back?
'Dark Lord 6 comic book takes place at 19 BBY, thus the inquisitorious founded in 19 BBY.'
I even explained why... --Marco 1907 (talk) 20:59, April 26, 2020 (UTC)
I said the dark lord 6 comic book states that the timeline is 19bby, and that comic book shows that the inquisitors were already founded before that comic book, if the timeline isn't clear then you can change and say that the dark lord 6 comic book's timeline is not clear as well.

I have a quick question about your reversion of my edit on the Raid on Ziro the Hutt's Coruscant pleasure palace page. I had changed the page thinking that the battle droids featured could not be confirmed as B1s, but you said it was okay to say that given that they look like B1s. Now, I am in favor of your idea because it makes my workbench much easier (I can say the Teth dungeon droids and Ziro droids are B1s), but I will just note that the droids have markings in places similar to OOM-series units, which are the predecessor series to B1s and not B1s themselves. The markings are similar to the markings on the the OOM security battle droids of the Citadel arc. Do you think we can continue to assume they are B1s despite this?--Editoronthewiki (talk) 04:53, May 2, 2020 (UTC)
- Granted, the markings are not entirely exact. It seems the palace droids don't have coloring/don't have the same placement of coloring on the back of the head seen on Citadel security droids. It also seems they lack the side coloring seen on the comlink booster packs of Citadel security units. It is a tad confusing, as there seem to be at least 2 animation model variants for citadel security, and 2-3 variants for Ziro's droids. One of the Ziro types looks closer to a command droid, but is not that type. Its markings are not yellow. Its just that the head is colored in the same spot. So, while the markings are still similar to OOM units, should I just go with your suggestion and assume they are B1s?--Editoronthewiki (talk) 19:11, May 2, 2020 (UTC)
It literally takes place during the ORS. I'm posting the right stuff
May I ask why my last two edits were reverted?
If a source, like Deadline, or /Film confirms rumors of cast or crew announcements, is it considered reliable enough to start a page, or does it have to be a thing like the official Star Wars website, or social media? Out of curiosity. I know that it's one thing to say that there's an announcement, but when a reliable source claims to have confirmed it, that seems enough to me, but I wanted to be sure. Thank you for your time. Roger Murtaugh (talk) 02:09, May 5, 2020 (UTC)

Hey, DarthRuiz. I noticed you reverted some minor edits I made to a few articles earlier this week. I’m a complete newbie to Wiki editing, but I’ve read the manual of style and can’t see what I did wrong. If you could help me understand the mistakes I’ve made, I’m more than happy to listen, I realize I’m new and this sort of thing is probably unavoidable.
Thanks so much,

Your message to me: Hi, once again I remind you of backup links. All images that you've been uploading that are found in external websites such as this or this require an archive link, this with the purpose of saving the website in case the link gets removed. Please go through your uploads and please update them with their respective archive link. You can get those backup links here
Thank you for reminding me about backup links. Unfortunately, not all websites can be archived by Web Archive :( I'm getting errors for some sites on the internet. But I'm trying to add backup links wherever this is possible. I'm asking you to be understanding :) --Dawidos2 (talk) 19:45, June 27, 2020 (UTC)
Hello. I'm Tomeito, the administrator of Japanese Wookieepedia.
I think the image attached to the Mist-Weavers article is wrong. In both the novel and the manga version, Shareen is a human female. The other two, Awglk and Wkk'e, are Insectoids. I don't think it's possible to tell which is which in the comic book version. I would appreciate it if you could tell me why you made the decision.--Tomeito 11:59, July 1, 2020 (UTC)
Hello, DarthRuiz30,
I saw that you had some problems with the articles and files I posted, and as a consequence of not having proper sources, that I was blocked for a day. I do agree that, that was the right decision, because you need other members of the site to add to these articles (unbiased authors with perhaps access to proper proof). I am however glad that nothing has been deleted or removed yet, which hopefully means that there is some proper proof (as in sources) present on the articles and files.
I have only got a couple of questions dealing with the articles of SW Droids: Season of Revolt (TPB), Dark Dragon Books and the two images of the covers of the first two unreleased "Shadow of Vader"-covers.
I do agree that the article of the TPB of "Season of Revolt" needs better sourcing, but I haven't yet found an official page with the WayBackMachine on the Boxtree Website (and I do not know if the articles on Rebelscum and Jeditemplearchives are proof enough, next to the fact that I and many others in the UK and Europe have the Trade in our collection) As for Dark Dragon Books, I have linked the article to as many different pages of the offical website as possible, should a Bibliography of what they have published be proof enough? (or is the publisher perhaps unrelevant? since I would assume that many other countries have a sort of third-party publisher for certain books, and they do not all have a page here on wookieepedia). And finally, the "Shadow of Vader"-issue covers, I have found the official source of the images on https://www.starwars.com/news/nycc-2018-lucasfilm-publishing-panel, but I tried to find other outlets to be sure, but this one should be enough I would assume (my only question is, are these allowed to be posted in the official article or not?)
I hope this message wasn't too long-winded, and that you have enough time to answer my questions... --MurfelDurvel (talk) 15:16, July 2, 2020 (UTC)
Thank you for responding, I have answers to your suggestions down here:

- I will add the templates, I am quite new to all this so I will look into how I need to implement them and when. As for backup links, that's also something I need to learn, but I will add them by the end of the week.
I have got pretty much all the info I need, although my last question is that I've accidentally uploaded a file that was already present on the site (the file that was present being https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/File:TotJ-DLotSCDCover.jpg), so how do I delete that file? (the file in question being https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/File:SW_TotJ_DLotS_AudioCDCover_Highres.jpg) -- MurfelDurvel (talk) 10:19, July 3, 2020 (UTC)
Since it was revealed that the appearance and gender is customizable, should the images and the description of their appearance be removed from the infobox? In addition to that, their names were revealed too which means they aren’t unidentified and could possibly be renamed to their names in the game. Andrewh7 (talk) 15:51, July 12, 2020 (UTC) Andrewh7
I have been trying to do the policy for the image. I have read the policy thoroughly multiple times. But every time that I do it correctly on the image summary my computer fails upload it. Back again to discuss the Sims 4 expansion.
So, I have been compiling names of NPCs in the game, and I am not sure the names are consistent across all instances of the game. Some names are repeated with different NPCs, as well as reused first names and last names. For example, I found three characters with the first name “Qurzit” and two different NPCs both named “Travor Roeder” (one was female, one was male).
I’m not sure the NPCs can be classified as canon and used the same way as Infinity 3.0 NPCs. I wonder if the game is randomizing names from a sort of list and creating the names. Perhaps the game isn’t even a source for canon? Your thoughts? Ite93 (talk) 21:09, September 25, 2020 (UTC)

Hey, it would be very much appreciated if you could move Edijan-Prince to Edjian-Prince, as the second one is the proper title of the subject. It would also be great if you could delete the currently existing Edjian-Prince-Article as that is the old one that I merged with the one I wish to be moved. Yea, it's kinda weird but someone did the article twice and it was really messed up. Thanks! CanePlayz (talk) 02:09, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
Why is it an issuer for me to move the pictures so that the headers don't get pushed over. It looks especially bad in the Pyke Syndicate article. Christhewalrus (talk) 06:04, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
Why are my edits wrong? The edit on Jesse made it better because it kept the header form getting pushed over and being pushed away form the quote under it. With how you made it, the quote and text don't line up with the header. I also didn't even make any sort of huge space so I don't know why it's an issue. Hey, I was wondering if we shouldn't have references for all of those planets listed on the List of planets. I know they have references on their own pages but including them here would make it a lot easier to find out where the information about the planet, its inhabitants and stuff is from. Also it would make reviewing and checking stuff on there way easier. Secondly, I was asking myself how we are ever gonna find out if the list is complete so we can remove the box stating that the list is incomplete one day. I know I should ask about this stuff on the talk page of the article but I haven't got an answer there for a year and I figured you would be the right person to ask since you're an admin with much experience and you've had to do with that article every now and then. It all started because very few people believe Clone Private is a canon rank all because of Galaxy Heroes but I inform you that it is NOT considered canon. the Clone Private from SWGH is nothing more but a filler because they also have others clones like Captain Rec and Commander Cody so of course they'll put Clone Private. it's either the devs or anyone higher up told them to do that. No books, comics, tv shows, movies and games said anything about Clone Private besides SWGH (even though it's not considered canon). The mod team failed to talk to me and explain their reason instead send me their forum and changed it back. So again anyone else care to explain to me and cares enough about lore?
At least a few of the SWTOR characters like Satele Shan, Mandalore the Avenger/Shae Vizla, maybe Jace Malcom have old, outdated images in their infoboxes. Their images no longer look like them and are what they looked like before SWTOR. I suggest the images be changed to what they look like in SWTOR rather than in the cinematic trailers. no.
Because Toprawa & Ralltir bizarrely protected the talk page of Robin Pronovost, I don't have many places to bring this up but here. Anyway,
With all due respect to Robin Pronovost and the transgender community, I believe the removal of information such as deadnames is counter-productive and completely out of character with how an encyclopedia is supposed to operate. While I do agree that the page's title should stay as it is now, it makes no sense to erase every trace of their deadname, especially considering the fact that they are credited by that name in all their Star Wars works. Wikis should not be censored. While the official Fandom decision only spoke of article titles, this still seems like a touchy subject and I would like to ask permission before re-adding any information. --Potsk (talk) 18:31, 3 April 2021 (UTC)

Hello there! Wanted to ask a few questions regarding one of your templates over at Wookiepedia. I'm an editor from the Assassin's Creed wiki and we sometimes repurpose your templates (with credit given). I was wondering about the "Credits" template and how you guys go about adding to the 'crew' section. Hi, I was pointed in your direction to ask about where to find parts of Leia Organa: Ordeal of the Princess, for the part that's not yet published in English. Specifically, I was curious if you'd be able to help me find the initial part of Chapter 14 of the comic which should have the information on Brel Ti Vorne, one of my status articles I'd like to update. If you're able to point me in the right direction on where to access the handful of pages needed (seriously can't seem to find them) or let me know if there's any significant difference to the book that'd be great. So, instead of trying to talk it out, you decide to block me from editing anymore. Nice... very friendly, totlly not hostile whatsoever - no one be jumping on your edits even if the edits provide more insights or and are correct, and definitely no one will smite your edit and then call the admins, if you persist, who'll then lay the final smack down on you so the all so "helpful editor" is now no more for good.
I thought the page was a stud and you know, needed some "expanding" and I happened to have some extra knowledge about said page that could be added and was just trying to help with that but instead get smite down by power tripping admins, now squashed as a helpless ant which I had been trying to avoid being stepped all over by you lot. In the end, I don't even know why I even bothered helping this wiki - wish I could turn back time get back my time spent doing those edits - heck I spent enough time here typing this comment out to express my opinion which of course will fall on deaf ears and promptly reverted back (like my other edits) to hide evidence of you blocking me and me crying outloud about it. I can see why there's a decline of wiki editors who no longer volunteers their free time helping anymore. Great job scarying them away. 👍
PS - Block me again after this all you want, I won't be coming back here anymore anyways as I've already said my piece and I don't care for your response after this which will be nothing anyways if there is gonna be one. You'll of course be happy about this because that's one less troll to worry about, right? Heh.
As seen here (and here, I proposed that the canon and Legends pages for the species be moved so they have the non-parenthetical titles, as in both continuities the species is more relevant than the planet/astronomical object. Sometimes there’s no additional info about something, even when it says “This page needs editing” eg. Pole arm. Are people allowed to put *non-conflicting with canon* info to flesh out and make a page more interesting, as long as no info is removed or contradicted? And if so, would a rough draft be put forward to be approved?

Hi! I forgot to note I am a new editor, and also can I keep my edits that do not interfere for instance a note under affiliation?
My tiny edit to the thing has base, and is actually seen in game so why was that part erased because it was not a possibility or conjecture?
I disagree, it is also stupid the alliance commander got in charge of the knights and not many survived and only a little even joined him and they were loyal to valkorion. He never commanded them officially under zakuul.
In a lore discussion tho, I find it kind of stupid that the knights would just blindly join the alliance with their fanatical loyalty to Valkorion. It would be highly unlikely since Zakuul was valkorions focus, and he had a strong connection to them and them betraying him is just to no ends in terms of lore. Also to clarify this is not about editing, just a discussion on the lore now.
And also how could joining the order of zildrog be treason when they literal had zakuuls cultural and government values
Was it only senyas set of knights that joined the Eternal Alliance, and the rest died or defected to the order of zildrog? I believe the alliance taking control would only drive the knights further to despise the alliance commander, and many were fanatics of valkorion and if so, only a small set of knights even joined the alliance. Zakuul I believe also sought independence from the alliance due to them being again fanatics, and all of the scions died defending Valkorion. Also, I find it stupid many eternal empire soldiers would join the alliance due to the fact most were fanatics of the Royal Family and again despised the commander. !not a parameter" is a stange reason for a revert, when the parameter is constntly deleted without a reason. cinematography is vital for television productions, andespecially in obi-wan kenobis case it's very notable as the cinematographer used to wor on multiple award winning movies and shows. i don't understand how wookiepedia is so rejective of such important informatio about a show CharlotteSmoothie (talk) 02:56, 2 June 2022 (UTC)
Could you please restore ? You deleted it saying it was unused, but it's actually used in a citation on Citizens' Fleet. rjd1922 (talk) 17:37, 11 August 2022 (UTC)

I am confused and would appreciate your help. I discuss the issue on the Talk page for Friends Like These, and I hope you will please be patient with me and help me understand about canon and new characters. Just prior to reading this Talk page, I had updated Bellows' article to reflect that he is a canon character, but it seems I might be wrong, which is what is confusing because he is a new character. I understand that you touch upon this, but I want to make extra sure because 1) he is a new character, and 2) the book is noted as being canon, which is what is making this difficult for me. Hi, I noticed that you are the admin that specializes in SW game content and I thought it might be worth noting that Variable Altitude Republic Patrol Vehicle article has a problems that I think could be worth addressing. Currently the weapon section of the infobox of the article is largely filled in with details provided in the Prima Guide, however that information absolutely contradicts the details in the vehicle summary provided by the guide on the very same page as well as the gameplay. How do we resolve this contradiction? Anakin Skyobiliviator () 06:21, 6 February 2024 (UTC)
