Hello. Thanks for creating John Armstrong, however the page need some work, as it is lacking a bibliography, and section title are wrong. Please, refers to the OOU layout guide on how to proceed. If you still have question after reading the policy, don't hesitate to reach me out on my talk page. --NanoLuuke 10:45, April 23, 2020 (UTC)

No, it doesn't matter which website or news agency reports it or how reliable their source is. The only way to create a new article is to have a social media post, a SW.com article or an approved statement by Lucasfilm--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 02:39, May 5, 2020 (UTC)

Hello, I believe we would still have to wait for something to come from StarWars.com or Disney before we can officially add it. For example, if you see on The Mandalorian Season Two, its only mentioned as 'reported' that Rosario Dawson will appear as Ahsoka in the season. Hopefully that answers your question! --Lewisr (talk) 02:40, May 5, 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that your edit to The Mandalorian Season Two added a social media link without archive (required per policy). In the case of Twitter, you'll have to use {{Twitter}} and provide a screenshot (which must be added here too). --NanoLuuke 14:05, May 5, 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that at least one of your recent additions added an external link without including a backup link. Our Sourcing policy mandates the inclusion of a permanent archival link in all external links. Instructions for doing this can be found on the respective citation template pages. Thanks! UberSoldat93 (talk) 19:36, October 1, 2020 (UTC)

Hey, Roger! There's a redirecting link to Rey's lightsaber in User:Roger Murtaugh/Other. It currently uses the former name of "Rey Skywalker's lightsaber." Can you fix this? Thanks! Mr Star Wars AminoRepublic (talk) 6:37, November 1, 2020 (UTC)

Please, while we are lenient on older articles featuring unverified information (which must then be tagged with {{fact}}), do not introduce an unverified date into Wookieepedia on a newly created articles, such as Simon Kassianides birthdate. Thanks. NanoLuuke 16:27, 16 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi, I don't really utilize talk pages, so this may be incorrect formatting. Apologies in advance.

Do you happen to utilize the Discord platform? You seem extremely interesting on the Discussions forums, and I was hoping to discuss off-site. Thanks, User talk:Jade Moonstroller.

Hey Roger, just wondering if you have Discord. I'm `Vaderson#8051` Vaderson (talk) 15:43, 21 January 2021 (UTC)Vaderson

As mandated by the Layout Guide, please add a "Bibliography" section to any out-of-universe pages you create (e.g. Rhea Perlman). UberSoldat93 (talk) 07:10, 28 May 2021 (UTC)

Hi there. When moving page titles, please leave a redirect to the old title, otherwise you will end up creating numerous redlinks on other pages, like has happened here. Thanks! RattsT (talk) 07:54, 4 June 2021 (UTC)

Hey, please revert the deleting/moving (idk what you did) to Terrifying Tales page that I made, since mine was the correct title name as stated on SW.com and had an image. Thanks, ~ D MCCG (chat) 00:33, 4 August 2021 (UTC)

Heads up, this is the correct formatting here. JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 21:24, 5 January 2022 (UTC)

Please keep in mind creating articles is not a competition. Your initial revision lacked templates and categories, which you correctly added afterward, but there's no reason why you can't spend an additional minute doing that before creating the page. Thanks. 1358 (Talk) 19:11, 26 May 2022 (UTC)

Hi, I had to edit your userpage because the page was renamed to AL-42. SeichanGrey (talk) 00:11, 1 June 2022 (UTC)

Hey Roger! I assume you must have missed this on the page but the rules now state that 'Each user may add no more than three new nominees to the list, so choose wisely! Ineligible nominees will be removed.' so you'll want to pick 3 of the ones you've added and then remove the others. Thanks! Lewisr (talk) 16:54, 16 December 2022 (UTC)

Hello. When creating pages, you shouldn't add sprot to the {{Top}} template since the administration hasn't protected the pages you created, the Imperial warlords. As "Unidentified Imperial Warlord" isn't a descriptive article title, the articles should describe these individuals so that we know who the page is referring to. Additionally, a television episode isn't a source, it's an appearance, the title of warlord isn't capitalized if it doesn't precede a title, and you should always add the unspecified species/gender/pronouns categories when creating pages. Samonic 10:36, 12 April 2023 (UTC)

Hi Roger and happy new year! As promised, I owe you the write up of a CA of your choice since you voted for Hobin in the Character of the Year competition so let me know when you've picked an article you'd like me to work on. Ayrehead02 (talk) 12:17, 4 January 2024 (UTC)

  • Apologies I didn't realise Ruiz was replying at the same time I was! Yeah I get what you mean, its best to just stick with the official site since that's essentially the source that really matters or social media as you say. • Oops. Oh, man. I forgot this time. Sorry. I'm still getting used to that. I didn't know about it until not too long ago and I haven't edited it enough to get in the habit, yet. I added the backup last time. What link did I miss? Roger Murtaugh () 19:42, October 1, 2020 (UTC)

Moving pages

Hi there. When moving page titles, please leave a redirect to the old title, otherwise you will end up creating numerous redlinks on other pages, like has happened here. Thanks! RattsT (talk) 07:54, 4 June 2021 (UTC)

  • When I originally messaged you, there were about a dozen pages that had redlinks. It's never preferable to delete a redirect that's still linked on the wiki, since leaving a redlink is the last thing we want to do. In the future, it'd be best to just leave a redirect as is during a move and let an admin delete it once all links are changed to the new title. Hope this makes sense!
