Sith Master edit

You added characters who exist solely in Legends to a Canon page. Certain Old Republic Sith have been made canon thanks to the ROSVD, but until a source confirms a character they are not canon. RattsT (talk) 09:02, January 9, 2020 (UTC)

 • I've added the Welcome Message on this page, hopefully it can clear up some confusion on how Wookieepedia works. And ROSVD is The Rise of Skywalker Visual Dictionary, a reference book that's canonized a few Legends Sith. Hope this helps :) RattsT (talk)

Canon/Legends

No, there's no need to merge articles. If they have appeared in both continuities then there should be two pages. Merging them would just create a mess since both continuities don't match with each other.

As for SWTOR, by community concesus it was decided that we would use the Republic side for everything from Shadow of Revan till right now on Onslaught. Any alternative would be written in the BTS--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 09:24, January 9, 2020 (UTC)

Anathel

Anathel leads the Sphere of Sith Doctrine which includes all those other Spheres. The other three spheres "disappeared" and the Sith Doctrine one was created. So we should only list that one, since he didn't led the other three.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 03:59, January 12, 2020 (UTC)

Warning

Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that at least one of your recent additions added unverified information to a mainspace article. Additions to Wookieepedia's articles must be verifiable by a reliable source per our sourcing policy, and unverified information may be reverted or deleted. Continuing to add unverified information may lead to you being blocked from editing by an administrator. Thank you. --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 03:53, January 13, 2020 (UTC)

 • The warning is for Force lightning/Legends, no source was added for every single entry that you added. Besides adding Darth Nox twice in the paragraph of Force Storm. As for the Barsen'thor, I didn't reverted, but its clear why it was done. The Barsen'thor does not cover anything about the Eternal Alliance, since there's no confirmation of who that is. Our article Alliance Commander is where we cover everything about it, but without speculating who is the Outlander.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 04:04, January 13, 2020 (UTC)

RE:Idea

Ideas are run by the community, not by me. If you want to hear other's opinions, please use the Senate Hall to create a post with your ideas. As for the Sith Emperor, no there's no need to create a page since it was Vitiate, not another individual.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 04:15, January 15, 2020 (UTC)

RE:Affiliations

See: User talk:Potsk --Potsk (talk) 16:21, February 5, 2020 (UTC)

 • To Andrew, regarding this situation: I have explained many times that all Sith have frequented the Academy. We usually use the Sith Academy as an affilition when there's nothing else. In the infobox we are to be as brief and simple as possible. Do not add Sith Academy in affiliations unless there's nothing else. Can you imagine if we started adding schools that all characters have frequented in the affilition box? It's just insane and irrational. Winterz (talk) 21:05, February 5, 2020 (UTC)

SWTOR Updates and skills

An update isn't an expansion. Unless they're marketed as an expansion there's no need to create something. Just like Jedi Under Siege isn't an expansion.

As for the skills of slicing or piloting, I guess if at any point of the vanilla game the character is shown to be skilled--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 05:43, February 11, 2020 (UTC)

RE:Affiliations

I don't think there's any rule that limits that. --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 23:12, February 11, 2020 (UTC)

 • Hello. Since you have violated the Three-revert rule of Wookieepedia, this is your formal administrative warning: revert again and administrative action will be taken against you. It should be obvious to you by now that the community does not want the Sith Academy listed as affiliation on the articles for Sith who trained there, as evidence by several editors removing this information. Please do not go against the community's will again. You may find it far more prudent to discuss the matter on the Senate Hall. Imperators II 19:47, February 12, 2020 (UTC)

RE:Affiliations

Firstly, it's not about rules. Secondly, that kind of tone would get you nowhere, maybe the wrong side of Wookieepedia. Thirdly, not negotiating something of such controversy before reverting edits would get you banned. On the main issue at hand, putting the academy under affiliations just because Nox was affiliated with it is unnecessary. What could be achieved by stating that this Sith is affiliated with the Sith academy just because Nox trained there, as with almost every other Sith at the time? What could be achieved, following this logic, would be to listing every single affiliation because all affiliations are affiliations and go into the affiliations field. It is of no substancial purpose, and is detrimental to the presentation of knowledge on Star Wars topics, the purpose of Wookieepedia. One could argue that putting everything up exactly fulfills this, but imagine an infobox extending for pages upon pages on computer screens. ---It's unnecessary. Feel free to create your own personal workspace for all your personal projects, including having gigantic infoboxes. I'm sure some people will appreciate it, but doing so on a public space, with, naturally, as a space, limited space, is simply innappropiate. Agree or not, I'd suggest you drop it before you lose the privilege/right to contribute to Wookieepedia. This is insignificant, both the matter and the concerned information being ommitted or included, and should be concluded before disproportional damage, to you, is made. - - - OOM 224 ༼༽{talk}༼༽ 21:04, February 12, 2020 (UTC)

 • I suggest you leave all these affiliation fields from trivial additions now, for your sake, and the community's. - - -OOM 224 21:08, February 12, 2020 (UTC)

User infobox

Please do not unilaterally edit the template for user infoboxes that affect virtually every user on the site. Discuss changes on the template's talk page or on the Senate Hall first. Thank you. Imperators II 18:51, February 23, 2020 (UTC)

Re:Sith Affiliations

I've never known the Sith Order (Sith Empire) page to be something that's needed to be linked to in the infobox, or anywhere else for that matter. I took a look at the pages that link to it; not even more than a hundred pages around the wiki actually link to this thing, most of those links apparently recently added by you. Furthermore, I've been able to find only one article out of all those that link to it which is actually a status article (articles reviewed so they may be labeled as the best articles on the site), and that one doesn't even link to it in the infobox. I'm skeptical that this even needs to be a page, since there's nothing particularly different about the TOR Sith Empire's Sith, and'll probably TC this page sometime down the road. I'm going to remove this unnecessary link from all infoboxes; please do not do not revert me or continue to link to "Sith Order (Sith Empire)" in infoboxes. Thank you. Fan26 () 13:44, March 18, 2020 (UTC)

 • Furthermore, as you've been told quite a few times now, please do not add "Sith Academy" to the infobox. Several users have already provided solid reasoning for this in earlier messages on your talk page, you can check those to refresh your memory as to why this doesn't need to be there. () 14:01, March 18, 2020 (UTC)

Dark Lord of the Sith

 • Only the Dark Councilors and the Emperor are Dark Lords in Tenebrae's Sith Empire.
 • Prior to the Rule of Two, there is typically only one Dark Lord of the Sith, so it is unnecessary to specify "Dark Lords of the Sith of Darth Revan's Sith Empire". There were only two, in succession, Revan and Malak.
 • The Dark Lord is the monarch of the Sith, not just anyone bearing the Darth title.

Editing

Hello. Please make sure you pay attention to our Layout Guide and other of the site's policies linked in the Welcome template at the top of this page before attempting any further edits to status articles. Thank you. Imperators II 20:17, March 23, 2020 (UTC)

 • Consider this your official warning: do it again and you will be facing a block. Thank you. Imperators II 08:43, March 25, 2020 (UTC)

Fan-fiction

Per the user page policy, fan-fiction on userpages is limited to 250 words. Currently your subpage here far exceeds that. Your primary focus here should be enhancing mainspace articles. If you would rather focus on fan-fiction, please visit the Star Wars Fanon Wiki. Thank you. MasterFredcerique 04:42, April 15, 2020 (UTC)

BTS sourcing

The behind the scenes section, as all part of any articles, must be sourced. Please, add a reference to what you added on Melicoste.--NanoLuuke 10:37, April 16, 2020 (UTC)

Fan fiction warning

Imperators II 07:45, April 18, 2020 (UTC)

 • The restriction applies to the body of your fan fiction subpage. The word count of a fan fiction work may be obtained either by counting the words manually or by using one of the word count tools available online or elsewhere. Please note also that galleries such as the one on your userpage are not allowed on Wookieepedia, per our User page policy. Imperators II 09:14, April 18, 2020 (UTC)

Categories

The only one that I see its repeated would be the Dathomiri one. The one for the Sith Empire is correct, not all military personnel is part of the Imperial Army--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 04:16, April 20, 2020 (UTC)

Category formatting

When adding or modifying a page's categories, like you did here, make sure that you adhere to the correct formatting, like this. Thanks. Zed42 (talk) 07:17, April 27, 2020 (UTC)

Squadrons pilots

Hi there. I know you messaged Cav about this and not me, but really this is a topic that should have been asked on the pilots' talk pages instead. Regardless, I thought I'd clear this up. We're not really worried about the pilots right now, as we have little information on them. Once we get closer to release we'll deal with how to handle those pages. Also, the names from the trailer already exist as redirects to Star Wars: Squadrons. Hope this helps. RattsT (talk) 06:16, July 17, 2020 (UTC)

 • Also, in regards to this edit, please do not add Legends links to articles on canon subjects. Thanks. RattsT (talk) 08:31, July 17, 2020 (UTC)

Vanguard info

Hi Andrew, could you let me know where you got the info here so that I can add a source? Thanks. RattsT (talk) 04:35, July 24, 2020 (UTC)

 • Could you send me a link? RattsT (talk) 05:16, July 24, 2020 (UTC)

Jedi Order

We originally had a page for Luke's Jedi at Luke Skywalker's Jedi, then it was decided on its talk page it was the best idea to merge it with the Jedi Order page --Lewisr (talk) 04:12, October 15, 2020 (UTC)

Articles with gameplay alternatives

Hey Andrew. Just wanted to say you don't need to bother with adding the category for Articles with gameplay alternatives. Whenever the Alternative gameplay template is used, it automatically adds that category. Cheers mate. Winterz (talk) 00:31, October 21, 2020 (UTC)

 • Well I suppose articles could use a hand in writing content within "Alternative gameplay" templates. It would help clean them and automatically add the respective category. But it's just a suggestion. Winterz (talk) 01:20, October 21, 2020 (UTC)

Re: Remove categories

Hi there, those pages I reverted are comprehensive articles. You cannot change them at the moment, except for adding new information i.e. not changing categories, as they'll need to have their status removed, if it's out of date or incorrect. —Tomotron 10:04, October 22, 2020 (UTC)

Linking

Hey, there is no need to link like boots or padawans, its much simpler and preferred to just link like boots or Padawans --Lewisr (talk) 04:08, 24 October 2020 (UTC)

 • It really doesn't look better to do it that way, and I would advice against continuing to do it since it will just be changed back per the manual of style. In regards to the sectioning stuff, there is not really much point of splitting stuff up if the page is currently as limited as Loden Greatstorm, once it has been expanded like Avar Kriss for example, it can be split into sections. The equipment should be in the equipment section per the layout guide, clothing is equipment and in this instance is more relevant to the equipment section, look at Sakas for example --Lewisr (talk) 04:20, 25 October 2020 (UTC)

Categorising

Please, when adding member categories (e.g. Category:Yavin Coalition, Category:Dread Executioners, Category:Corellian Jedi) to organization/title articles (e.g. the main subject of the categories, such as the Yavin Coalition and the rank of Jedi Consular) do not remove organization categories (e.g. Category:Task forces, Category:Sith Empire military units) from the article. Organization articles should be placed in categories for organizations, (e.g. Category:Task forces) and a category for members of a certain organization should be placed in categories for individuals (e.g. Category:Corellians and :Category:Jedi). When an organization article is placed in a category for members of the organization, the member category should be added to the article formatted like so . Thank you. - - -OOM 224 ༼༽{talk}༼༽ 18:49, 11 November 2020 (UTC)

Fanfiction

Per the User page policy, "User page fan fiction is limited to 250 words or less." You have already been warned about this, so as such, I have removed all fanfiction on User:Andrewh7/Darth Imperius‎. It was well over 250 words, which you have been told already. Feel free to use the history to relocate the content to the Star Wars Fanon Wiki, but if this page is reinstated here, you will be blocked. Thank you for your cooperation. Tommy-Macaroni 16:06, 19 December 2020 (UTC)

 • The user page policy isn't specific on where these words come from, but the point of that rule is to say you should not have excessive fanfiction on this site. Your fanfiction page was 271,043 bytes, which does suggest it's excessive. And we do not allow this level of fanfiction on here because it isn't our mission as a site. If we didn't have these rules, people would easily abuse our user page system to host whatever they wanted. That is not the point of a user page, they are to give info about you as an editor, not for you to use as your mini website. Fanfictions are given slight leeway as they're somewhat relevant to the content we focus on, but they are still not our purpose, and we don't want to see our user pages and recent changes overrun by fanfic writers. That is why there is a dedicated fanfiction wiki. And frankly your troubles linking to stuff on that wiki is none of our concern, our images here are intended for used in our articles, not people's fanfictions. But this is all irrelevant. This is a rule of the site, and it has been instigated by community vote. It is unlikely to change, so please just comply with it like everyone else. 21:42, 19 December 2020 (UTC)

Removal of sources

Hi! May I ask why you removed a number of sources from Anakin's page? Thanks. --JediMasterMacaroni(Conversation) 04:00, 24 January 2021 (UTC)

RE:Darth Nox

If the purple eye color is temporary, it really shouldn't be included in the infobox. NanoLuuke 19:42, 7 July 2022 (UTC)

 • Maybe it seems more evident to you, but I'm not seeing any hard evidence in what you said that the character gain permanent eye color change. NanoLuuke 04:06, 8 July 2022 (UTC)

Singing Mountain

Hey there! I reverted the edit because the page doesn't need to be split with a section like you did, the word count is below 165 so it was perfectly fine to stay as it was. Plus it is a current Wookieepedia:Comprehensive articles so if it needed to be sectioned, such a request would have been brought up during the review process. Hope this helps clarify, do let me know if not! Lewisr (talk) 22:32, 13 September 2023 (UTC)

RE: Formerly

Hi. The reason the wiki in general has stopped listing "" in infoboxes is because we treat everything as having happened in the past. If you look at Kreia or Finn, for example, it does work even if a character has explicitly ended an affiliation and it forms a large part of their character development; you can see the progression from one group to their "enemy group," if you will. Adding "" would create clutter and, unless we do it to every article throughout the wiki, make things inconsistent and confuse readers. Hope this makes sense! OOM 224 17:51, 30 September 2023 (UTC)

RE: Revert edit

Articles generally refer to characters by their last name since the pages are presented as historical recordings with a formal language. Also, we have stopped pipelinking pronouns to Gender some time ago per the discussion here. Hope this helps, Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 01:09, 12 October 2023 (UTC)

Ilini's father

Hey there! Please be aware that I reverted your edit on Ilini's father. I did this because the page has no need to be sectioned as it's well under the count that requires sectioning. Also the page is a current Comprehensive article, meaning it has gone through a review process by other users of the site where any ned for sectioning was also brought up. Please in future if you want to make changes to status articles, it would be a good idea to contact the nominator of said page (in this case of Ilini's father it was me) if you had any suggestions for changes. Thank you! Lewisr (talk) 18:21, 16 November 2023 (UTC)

RE: Office

Hey there. I reverted the edit because you didn't provide any source that states the Office of the Chancellor operated as a part of the Senate. Hope this helps, Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 12:07, 22 April 2024 (UTC)

 • The article in question is not about a physical location but rather about the executive branch that aided the Chancellor, which does not mean they operated as a part of the Senate like many other Republic divisions and departments. (talk) 23:22, 22 April 2024 (UTC)

Re:Character infobox

Hello! That can just be noted in the skin color field (optionally using a separate bullet point and/or a C tag and/or a simple listing like "[Skin color] with [Lekku/montrail color] lekku/montrails"). Hope this helps, Imperators II 08:32, 4 May 2024 (UTC)

 • So I went ahead and asked about this idea to the editors on our Discord server, and the general consensus expressed there was that, although such traits should definitely be noted in an article's Personality and traits section, they should probably not have a separate infobox field of their own, for reasons such as: the ambiguity of whether or not those markings you mention are tattoos or naturally occurring traits; it not really fitting with the idea that infoboxes should be as succinct as possible (they're meant to provide only a brief overview of the key details of the subject after all); and the difficulty with defining how wide a scope should such a field have and what it should be named (after all, if we wanted a separate field for lekkus and montrails, surely features such as horns etc. would also need to be denoted). Again, my personal suggestion would be that if you list these traits on separate bullet points to the skin color and clearly denote them with, say, , it should be clear enough to the reader that it isn't referring to their skin color. Hope this helps, Imperators II 11:40, 5 May 2024 (UTC)

Re:Clone Wars characters with Legends pages?

Hello! I believe this part of our Canon policy contains the answer to your question why TCW is considered both Canon and Legends on Wookieepedia. I warmly recommend at the rest of that page too for other pointers about continuity. Hope this helps :) Imperators II 18:29, 13 May 2024 (UTC)

 • Not really, since the entire multimedia project is interconnected and only treating some works of it as Legends would leave inexplicable gaps in our Legends coverage of its stories. Imperators II 06:42, 20 May 2024 (UTC)
