Talk pages

Please be aware of the talkheader when posting on talk pages. Talk pages exist for discussing article improvements, not for in-game strategy discussions. Supreme Emperor (talk) 15:27, January 3, 2014 (UTC)

  • To clarify, we are an encyclopedia, not a forum. If you wish to discuss game strategies or other topics not related to enhancing articles, numerous alternative websites are available for that purpose. Cade Calrayn 16:04, January 3, 2014 (UTC) Excuse me for jumping in, but as a significant editor on the LOTR wiki, I must state that your claim about it is demonstrably false. The rise in vandals and subpar editors is solely due to our limited and poorly enforced rules and policies. The LOTR Wiki's issue stems precisely from lacking Wookieepedia's robust rules and policies, resulting in its disarray. Wookieepedia adopts new policies through community consensus via democratic means, and experienced editors like Cade diligently enforce these rules. If you disagree with the established procedures, you are welcome to initiate your own CT topic and observe the outcome. However, I believe it would be futile since your views are unlikely to gain support. Therefore, if you remain dissatisfied, the exit is that way. Winterz (talk) 16:51, January 3, 2014 (UTC)

Signature

I'd like to bring to your attention that your signature lacks any identification of yourself. This not only hinders clarity, but it also contravenes the third clause of our Signature policy. Thank you. jSarek (talk) 06:17, February 10, 2014 (UTC)

  • A warning regarding your signature's violation of Wookieepedia policy is not an invitation to debate that policy poorly by insulting Wookieepedia, also poorly, while continuing to employ a non-compliant signature. Wookieepedia's standards are higher than other Wikia-hosted sites. Accept these standards or leave. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 01:12, February 11, 2014 (UTC)
