Cade, could you please undo the most recent change to the Darth Malak article? I was attempting to correct the LEGO set information, but my edit was reverted. Here's a link to the product: https://lego.com/en-us/product/r2-d2-75379. Thanks! Elijah Palmer (talk) 20:02, 28 December 2024 (UTC)
Cade, I appreciate your recent work on tidying up article titles and redirecting duplicate or dubious ones to their correct counterparts. My question is this: when you perform a redirect, would it be possible for you to incorporate the content from the redirected article into the target article? As an example, I just had to manually transfer all the information from the Lioaoin cruiser article to heavy cruiser, and similarly from Lioaoin patrol craft to patrol ship. I'll continue reviewing the latest ship redirects to integrate their data into the relevant parent articles. Thank you, and happy holidays to you. --Vitus InfinitusTalk 05:48, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
Cade, I'm writing to seek clarification on your decision to redirect the Republic space tug article to TUG-314. You justified this action by stating that the two ships are identical; however, they are, in fact, completely different vessels. The Republic space tug appears to be larger and exhibits a significantly different, bulkier hull design, including a unique bridge compared to the TUG-314. This hull also features a prominent central ridge extending from the bridge to the engines, along with engine flaps and port and starboard docking tube clamps, and lacks the radar dish and antennas found on the TUG-314. --Vitus InfinitusTalk 06:16, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
- I've included a link here for the Republic space tug concept art and here for the TUG-314 image. It's evident that these are distinct vehicles. -- Vitus Infinitus Talk 06:19, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
Why was this category removed by you? I was only trying to be helpful. Elijah Palmer (talk) 22:40, 31 December 2024 (UTC)
I'm inquiring about the adventure titled "The Betrayal of Darth Revan." I've been searching for it online without success. While I located the book on archive.com, it wasn't included. I understand it's supposed to be a Web Enhancement, but I haven't found it in the archived Web Enhancement pages on this page either.
Could you possibly offer any assistance?
Thank you,
Hagane no Saiyajin (talk) January 1, 2025, 9:29 (est)
- It was an unauthorized adventure released independently of WOTC, so it's excluded from the official timeline. That's also the reason it's not available online; it was exclusively used at a physical convention and never appeared on the WOTC website. Cade Calrayn 02:32, 2 January 2025 (UTC)
Regarding the short story "Light and Shadow," it's accessible online despite being unlicensed. Should it be included in the Media timeline?
Hagane no Saiyajin (talk) January 2, 2025, 11:16 (EST)
- Unofficial media is not included, period. The timeline's purpose is to maintain a consistent order for all appearances across the site, and unofficial media isn't listed in the main Appearances section. Cade Calrayn 04:21, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
Looking at the Legends timeline, I'm curious as to why everything between Episodes III and IV is categorized under the "Rise of the Empire era." By that point, hasn't the Empire already risen and taken control? It seems like there's no further "rising" needed. I think a title like "Age of the Empire era" or simply "Empire era" would be more fitting. Hagane no Saiyajin (talk) January 3, 2025, 17:59 (EST)
- These headers align with the official publishing eras employed by Lucasfilm and Del Rey. The Rise of the Empire era actually extends to ANH. Cade Calrayn 23:07, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
Under what category do books like The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force (real-life book) and The Journal of Master Gnost-Dural (real-life book) belong? Promotional material? Adventure/scenario? Gamebook? Or novel? Hagane no Saiyajin (talk) January 3, 2025, 17:59 (EST)

They fall under reference material. I dedicated a significant amount of time recently to adding every valid appearance to the media timeline. Now, an automated system manages and tracks it, so anything not included is intentionally excluded. Cade Calrayn 20:22, 4 January 2025 (UTC)

Why was "The Betrayal of Darth Revan" re-entered into the Media Timeline, despite the previous statement that it's unlicensed, unavailable, and shouldn't be included? Hagane no Saiyajin ( talk ) January 4, 2025, 17:59 (EST)
I've observed that the short story compilation Life Day Treasury is listed on User:C4-DE Bot/Canon Missing. However, all the individual short stories are already present on the Timeline. Is this being flagged by the bot simply because there's an "Appearances" section for the book itself? This is unusual, as other short story collections don't have such sections. Thanks! Greetings, I'm writing to request your permission to utilize the template on a Wiki I actively contribute to, w:c:HypixelSkyblock. I believe its tab functionality would be extremely beneficial across numerous pages on our wiki. However, I first seek authorization to use code created by someone else. Given that it originated in 2008, I doubt I'll receive a response from the original author. Therefore, I'm reaching out to you as an active editor and administrator.
Thank you in advance, Voball (talk) 14:53, 5 January 2025 (UTC)

I've recently noticed that the MC80 page, specifically the one pertaining to the Home One Type, has been renamed to MC80A Home One Type Heavy Star Cruiser. While I acknowledge that this name has appeared at least once in the past 40 years of sources, I question the necessity of switching from one canonical name to another, especially given the resulting complications. This is a well-established page with numerous links, all of which will now need to be updated to reflect the new name. This represents a substantial undertaking that would consume time better spent elsewhere. The second issue is readability. Wookieepedia's primary function is to serve as an informative resource. Therefore, we should avoid unnecessary complexity whenever possible, provided it aligns with established canon. In this instance, I believe a mistake has been made. The original name, MC80 Home One type Star Cruiser, was straightforward, clearly indicating that it was one of two MC80 types. Simply referring to it as a cruiser avoids the issue of inconsistent classifications. The page previously referred to this vessel type as a battleship, which is also supported by canon. To further complicate matters for the reader, the new name has been conflated with the actual MC80a Star Cruiser, which is a distinct and more recent series of standardized warships. The letter 'A' differentiates these cruisers from the Liberty Type and Home One Type, with the latter's successor distinguished by a 'B'. Including both the 'A' and "Home One-Type" will only increase confusion. I understand the desire to mirror the other continuity, but they are incompatible. As stated in the behind-the-scenes section of the canon article: "In the old Expanded Universe, the MC80a and MC80 Home One type Star Cruiser were two separate models. This was changed, however, in the canon book Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know, Updated and Expanded, which describes both designations belonging to the MC80." Since Legends isn't bound by Disney Canon, I recommend reverting the name change and focusing on maintaining internal coherence within each continuity rather than attempting to bridge the gap. While I admit I'm unaware of your reasoning behind this decision, I hope we can discuss this further. RC-0407 (talk) (CET 22:55 09/01/2025)
- I'm not seeing the problem here. First of all, the article you linked to is the canon page, which hasn't been moved. Secondly, the name was used in an official Legends source, end of discussion. And regarding your point about links, the vast majority have already been fixed. According to our naming policy, we use the most formal name, and that's the MC80A. That's all there is to it. Cade Calrayn 22:05, 9 January 2025 (UTC) This is not the end of the discussion. We must all be responsible for our actions. Since you hold a higher rank as an administrator, I'll respect your final decision. However, I've reviewed the Wookieepedia:Naming policy, and it doesn't specify which name is more official. Both names are used in Legends sources, with one arguably being used more frequently. I don't accept the argument that the longer name takes precedence based on personal preference. There's nothing that makes it more official than the other. If you have further insight into this matter, I'm eager to learn. RC-0407 (talk) (CET 23:33 09/01/2025)
Hello! On the Timeline of Legends media, both YR and CB are grouped together as "young," resulting in nothing being displayed when all categories except CB are hidden. The color associated with CB is being applied to both categories. I'm unsure how to resolve this. Thanks! Rebelcrimsonbear (talk) 21:13, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
It is an established fact within canon that the Special Operations Brigade is an official organization within both the Grand Army of the Republic and, later, the Galactic Empire. If you choose not to acknowledge this, that is your prerogative; as the Administrator, your decision is final. Also, please note that AnilSerifoglu's term as Administrator concluded on January 19th. GormCyborg (talk) 06:24, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
Can you please read? The Guide to the Grand Army of the Republic clearly states that all clone commandos belonged to the Special Operations Brigade.
- I am indeed aware of that. However, that doesn't mean that every unit involving a commando was automatically part of the Brigade. That's akin to claiming that any group a Jedi ever worked with was a Jedi organization. Cade Calrayn 14:58, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
Michael, it appears you're trying to push me off Wookieepedia by deleting crucial categories and scrutinizing my edits, claiming superiority due to your administrator status. Are you perhaps envious of my efforts to clean up the mess on Wookieepedia? I might just leave. Furthermore, your statement ("Overcategorization, and overassumptions/fanon used to populate it") doesn't make you inclusive; you're simply fabricating nonsense and reverting my edits. Given that you joined in 2010, 15 years ago, you should exhibit more maturity on Wookieepedia... GormCyborg (talk) 16:18, 23 January 2025 (UTC)

I apologize if it seems like I'm singling you out; that's not my intention. However, I stand by my reasons for the reversions. We adhere to well-defined sourcing rules and policies regarding assumptions and extrapolations, which your edits appear to violate. Cade Calrayn 16:24, 23 January 2025 (UTC)

I understand. Thank you for clarifying. GormCyborg ( talk ) 16:34, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
If we're dedicating significant effort to differentiate between the canon and Legends cruisers, despite the spelling inconsistencies within both continuities, we should at least provide clarity for the average reader. On a standard page, I'd include a "You-may-be-looking-for...?" tag to direct users to the counterpart. However, this is a category that already has a description. Alternatively, we could try adding a top bar with Canon and Legends sections. Regardless, we need to take action, as a difference of two letters is too small a margin for Wookieepedia's standards. Cade, in Star Wars: Empire at War, the Rebellion utilizes Z-95s until they're phased out in favor of X-Wings. Should it be included in the starship classes of the Alliance to Restore the Republic category? Warmaster 24 (talk) 05:32, 9 February 2025 (UTC)
Cade, the article states that the GAR (Grand Army of the Republic) used these recon speeders for frontline support operations and scouting ahead of larger Republic vehicles during the Clone Wars. Should it be included in that category? Also, you haven't responded to my previous message regarding the Z-95 Headhunter affiliation. I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts on both subjects. Thanks Warmaster 24 (talk) 03:02, 23 February 2025 (UTC)
Hi Cade! The official packaging identifies it as Anakin's Naboo N-1 Starfighter. https://www.target.com/p/star-wars-n-1-starfighter-and-action-figure-playset/-/A-89101695 Elijah Palmer (talk) 21:46, 23 February 2025 (UTC)
