Built by MandalMotors, the TUG-314 utilized powerful tractor beams in order to assist larger ships navigating congested orbital docking areas. Furthermore, Republic tugboats contained emergency equipment, including firefighting systems and salvage scanners, which aided in locating survivors amidst debris following a major crash.
