A war cruiser was a capital ship classification that was used by the Kilji Illumine, the nation of the Kilji species. The Kilji war cruisers were equipped with engines, escape pods, electrostatic barriers for protection, and a hyperdrive. Their armament included spectrum lasers and missiles, and they were longer than the Illumine's Kilji picket cruisers and three or four times smaller than a Grysk Shatter-class WarMaster warship.
In 18 BBY, the ruler of the Kiljis' nation, Generalirius Nakirre, and Illumine General Crofyp commanded the Kilji war cruisers Whetstone and Anvil—the latter being the flagship of Crofyp's task force—respectively.
