The episode opens with Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi and Padawan Anakin Skywalker dueling Count Dooku during the First Battle of Geonosis at Dooku's hangar. Count Dooku fights with his lightsaber and Force lightning, wounding Kenobi and Skywalker.
Jedi Master Yoda walks into the hangar with a cane and confronts his former Padawan. The narrator explains that in a "galaxy of adventures" size matters not. Dooku engages in a lightsaber duel with Yoda, who runs circles around the Sith apprentice. Dooku hurls Force lightning at Yoda, but he dodges it.
Bested by his former Master, Count Dooku hurls a power turbine at Kenobi and Skywalker. Yoda uses the Force to levitate the turbine away from Skywalker and Kenobi, landing it safely. However, Dooku takes the opportunity to escape in his solar sailer. Yoda, Kenobi, and Skywalker watch grimly as Dooku flees Geonosis
