Abaarian, located in the Mid Rim within the Abaarian system, was classified as a planet. Following the conclusion of the Yuuzhan Vong War, this world became a member of the Galactic Alliance, and it began exporting bottled water to planets experiencing shortages. During the Dark Nest Crisis, a number of these water shipments were seized. As a result, the Jedi High Council sent Jedi Knights Tesar Sebatyne together with Lowbacca to conduct an inquiry.
