Abominelle held the title of Royal Margravine of Vena and was a female Human from the Venan people. On the night before her scheduled nuptials, her visit to Fornax Station was disrupted by Han Solo and Smurdap's scheme, the station's security chief, which aimed to apprehend the smuggler. Ultimately, she cancelled her wedding after developing feelings for Solo.
Around 2 BBY, Abominelle was touring the Fire Rings of Fornax aboard Fornax Station on the eve of her wedding when the smuggler Han Solo, accompanied by his co-pilot Chewbacca, interrupted her. During their encounter, Solo offended Abominelle before departing, leaving the Royal Margravine utterly speechless.
Later that evening, Smurdap, the station's security officer, stole her Tyrian shimmersilk wedding gown as part of a plot to coerce Chewbacca and Solo into surrendering their illicit goods. While Solo initially remained unaware, Abominelle's screams alerted him to the plan. He insulted her for causing a scene and then walked away, again.
After Smurdap was defeated and taken into custody, her dress was returned. The next time she encountered Solo, she informed him that she had cancelled her wedding because she had fallen in love with someone else, implying her attraction to him. He politely accepted her offered hand, only to then inquire if there was a reward for returning her dress, on behalf of Chewbacca. Enraged, Abominelle resumed screaming.
Abominelle's sole appearance to date is in the 2010 young reader novel Adventures in Hyperspace: Fire Ring Race by Ryder Windham.
