It's important to note that this shield wasn't effective against blaster bolts or physical collisions. However, it proved useful in scattering gaseous substances and airborne chemical agents that posed a threat to the Force user. This power allowed a user to dissipate things such as smoke, toxic fumes like chlorine, or even more subtle airborne compounds, such as pheromones.
Notably, Jax Pavan and Laranth Tarak employed this technique to counteract the pheromones emitted by Dejah Duare when she tried to enlist their help.
