Admiral of the Fleet, alternatively known as Admiral of the Navy, served as a rank within the Galactic Empire's Imperial Navy. The vast majority of Navy staff, spanning from the newest recruit up to the Admiral of the Fleet, fell under the jurisdiction of the Admiralty's Fleet Command division. Conan Antonio Motti, the Chief of the Imperial Navy, achieved the rank of Admiral of the Fleet, largely due to established customs and familial connections rather than demonstrable accomplishments as he ascended the Imperial ranks.
