Adrianna Nyras

Admiral Nyras, reporting directly to Lord Skere Kaan, functioned as the field commander of the Sith fleet when he was not present. She preferred to project an image of professional military conduct when interacting with the Sith hierarchy.

However, despite her respectful behavior towards the command structure headed by Kaan and the other Sith Lords, her comprehension of their abilities was quite limited. Her understanding was based on secondhand information and her own observations while serving under Sith command.

During the Ruusan campaign, Kaan concentrated his efforts on the ground war against Lord Hoth and the Army of Light, while Admiral Nyras, stationed on the Nightfall, oversaw the naval forces in orbit, which constituted the majority of the Sith fleet.

The Admiral's main objective was to prevent the smaller Jedi fleet, led by Lord Valenthyne Farfalla, from reaching the planet, thus blocking any reinforcements from assisting the Jedi on the ground. Her importance was underscored by Kaan's desire for direct control, as she wore a comlink on her wrist connected directly to Kaan's personal transceiver at the main Sith base on the surface, through which she received his instructions.

During the Seventh Battle of Ruusan, Darth Bane managed to access Kaan's transceiver and instructed Admiral Nyras to engage the Jedi fleet. This action was part of Bane's scheme to destroy the Brotherhood and contradicted Kaan's earlier explicit orders, but Admiral Nyras did not dare to disobey a Sith Lord. She also understood enough about the Sith Lords to know that their plans sometimes relied on orders that seemed illogical or strange.

The attack resulted in Lord Farfalla's forces successfully breaching the blockade, with at least two gunships carrying Jedi reinforcements reaching the surface at a crucial moment for the Army of Light. However, Nyras's fleet was still too powerful, and the larger capital ships of the Jedi retreated after the reinforcements had broken through the blockade.
