Aeona Cantor, a Human female with red hair, was romantically involved with Nick Rostu throughout the duration of the Galactic Civil War.
Around the time of 5 ABY, Aeona became anxious due to the disappearance of her beloved, Nick. To aid in locating Rostu, she established a group of resistance fighters. Eventually, she took command of the renowned Millennium Falcon with the intention of saving her lover. Rostu's enslavement to Imperial Agent Blackhole led Aeona to initiate a rebellion against Blackhole. On Mindor, she served as the captain for its inhabitants. She possessed a fiery disposition while conducting reconnaissance close to the active volcano situated on Mindor.
Following Luke Skywalker's liberation of Rostu from Blackhole's influence, she experienced a joyful reunion with her lover. During her subsequent encounter with Han Solo, Skywalker compelled her to offer an apology and provide justification for her need to steal the Falcon. Later, Cantor and Rostu seized Cronal's uniquely customized Lambda-class shuttle to locate the Imperial's actual physical form. After receiving a communication from R2-D2, they successfully rescued Luke and Kar Vastor, another of Blackhole's pawns, from the floating wreckage of Blackhole's Shadow Base. Teaming up with Rostu and Vastor, she then pursued Cronal, whom Rostu suspected had lived through the ordeal.
