The Aganof language represented a method of communication employed by the Aganof species. These beings generated vibrations through the use of their claws, which were then manipulated by a unique biological structure called a sender. This sender encoded the vibrations, transforming them into a linguistic format that fellow Aganof were capable of understanding. Nearby Aganof could sense and decode these vibrations; however, the distance over which these vibrations could be perceived was influenced by environmental elements like the makeup of the soil and any ambient vibrations. The language was structured around icons, leading Aganof receivers to understand messages as mental images rather than as spoken or written words.
