Agluk, a Dulok of the male gender, resided on the Forest Moon of Endor during the era of the Galactic Civil War. In the year 3 ABY, a contingent of Imperial stormtroopers, whom the Dulok referred to as "Skull Ones," captured Agluk along with his entire tribe. Despite the amputation of his right arm, Agluk successfully broke free from Imperial custody, only to be ensnared shortly thereafter by a group of Ewoks. These Ewoks, specifically Wicket Warrick, Paploo, and Princess Kneesaa a Jari Kintaka, offered Agluk his freedom in exchange for guiding them to his village. Agluk consented, and the three Ewoks released him from their trap.
To ensure his cooperation on their journey to the Dulok village, the Ewoks restrained Agluk with a rope around his neck. Agluk led the Ewoks through a concealed cavern, and because the darkness made visibility impossible, Agluk utilized an imprisoned Wistie named Zrani as a source of illumination. While Agluk slept, Warrick attempted to liberate Zrani by retrieving the key to her cage, which was secured around Agluk's neck. This action roused Agluk, who then pursued the Ewoks through the cave wielding a "fire stick" that he had pilfered from the stormtroopers. The sounds of blaster fire, emanating from Agluk's pursuit of the Ewoks to the cave's exit, awakened the legendary Griagh. The Griagh then killed the unsuspecting Agluk, facilitating the Ewoks' escape.
Agluk appeared as a character in Star Wars: Ewoks—Shadows of Endor. The name "Agluk" was first used in the press summary for the comic book, which caused some confusion among fans on TheForce.Net forums because it seemed that the Duloks were replacing the Ewoks' main rivals. Zack Gilliangno later clarified that he was referring to the Duloks, and the summary was changed to reflect this.
