Agromech droids represented the agricultural counterpart to astromech droids, specifically designed for planetary agricultural tasks. Leading up to the establishment of the Galactic Empire, Industrial Automaton manufactured various agromech models, notably the R2-AG and the R4-series droids, which were part of the widely recognized R-series astromech droid line.
