The Ahto Uprising was a conflict that occurred in Ahto City on the planet of Manaan. It transpired after the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic achieved victory over Darth Malak's Sith Empire, led by the Dark Lord of the Sith, at the conclusion of the Jedi Civil War. This particular battle involved Force-sensitive adepts who were aligned with the Order of the Selkath female Shasa, and the remaining Sith forces stationed on Ahto City. Ultimately, the Shasan adepts were successful in their defeat of the Sith who had served Malak. Malak himself had previously been slain by Revan, a former Sith Lord who had since become a redeemed Jedi Knight.
The initial mention of the Ahto Uprising can be found in the Planet Hoppers article titled Manaan: Depths of History, specifically in its third section. This article was authored by Cory J. Herndon and was published by Wizards of the Coast in February of 2004. Additionally, an image illustrating the Selkath Shasa engaged in combat with a Sith trooper during the Ahto Uprising was included in the Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide.
